“Great liquor store that has two massive differentiating qualities. 1 they carry items upon request. I’ve asked them to carry 4 different products in the last 5 years and they were available the next week. 2. They loyalty rewards programs pays back 10 bucks in cash probably about every 4-5 visits. Location is great and the staff are friendly and ask if you need help.”

“Nice, small liquor super in an old gas station that sticks only local brews, liquor, THC, and N/A products. They get a lot of limited release stuff by working with only smaller breweries so checking back often is a good call. The staff has always been very helpful and friendly but there's a definite hipster "craft beer" vibe about the whole place. There is an awesome shop dog, though so that overrides any complains I may have.”

“This place is amazing. Great selection, including a huge wall of beer singles, and a really great that is very helpful. This is one of my favorite places in the Metro, can't recommend it enough. Building your own six pack of beer is a lot of fun here.”

“It's been a year since I quit drinking so having a nice little non-alcoholic bottle shop open up is very convenient! And it's also a little cocktail bar, which I absolutely love! The servers and staff are always super friendly, so I hope they're being paid well. And by being paid well I don't mean just a dollar above minimum wage. I mean actually paid enough to be able to live and thrive, not just survive. Most employers in Minneapolis-Saint Paul will pay you a dollar or two above minimum wage and act like they're doing something, which is extremely deplorable! Anyway, my friends brought me to this place, and now I bring my part into this place. For repeat customers who are very happy with our service and the selection of the shop so far! My only criticism is it would be heart if they had more CBD ONLY products available. It's become very hard to find CBD in town since recreational THC became legal.”

“Amazing staff and amazing prices. I used to go here when I only had a bike, boss guy or staff would always watch my bike while I shopped. Now I have a car, I remember that, and I'm a loyal customer. The prices are fantastic too. If you are a seltzer enjoyer like I am, you'll be impressed by their selection as well.Normally they have white claw, bud light, and truly seltzers. They carry other varying stock as well. Right now they have Fulton as well!”

“One of the only liquor stores in St Paul that stayed open until 10:00 after the COVID restrictions were lifted. The owner is very friendly and they have a awesome craft beer selection”

“The wine tastings hosted by Louis are excellent. I buy two bottles every time I've gone on one of the mini-journeys with him and I've never regretted a purchase. If I ran this store I would immediately double his pay to make sure he stuck around.”

“Had no clue this amazing liqour store existed! A friend of mine walks past it on their way to work, therefore knew of it being there. The selection they carry, in terms of spirits, is quite impressive. Being a bartender and someone that appreciates the vast expanse that is variable nuances within the flavor profiles of different liqours, I could have spent a long time looking at all of the spectacularly curated options. Check this place out, if you're looking for something out of the ordinary. Highly recommend!”

“Love! Came in here after an evening of pickleball at Lake Nokomis. For a Wednesday night, it was lively and the food was so good. My partner and I shared the Chicharron de Pollo and every part of the plate was amazing. I love plantains! It’s great vibes for a date night. I’ll be coming back for the patio this summer too!”

“I purchase a beverage all liquor stores carry, and also live walking distance to a different liquor store. However, I choose to drive the extra distance to Down Under. Why? Customer service, which is the product stores don’t have to deliver, but Down Under delivers every time! Support your local businesses and stop into Down Under!”

“It may take a little bit of hunting because it is not quite organized in the way most stores are. However, I've found some really nice, reasonably priced whiskeys there and the family that owns the store are really wonderful people.”

“This is the place for knowledgable staff and great finds. When I have a special occasion, I go here. They always know what to pair with the food I plan to serve and the prices are competitive with other shops. I just wanted a split of champagne to celebrate an amazing day and they had a huge selection of sparkling wines with a wide range of prices. If you're looking for something hard to find, not the usual grocery store stuff, definitely come here. And the music is always good, too.”

“South Lyndale Liquors provides an opportunity to travel the world, with all the wines, beer, and spirits from around the world. The deli and wine bar is my new favorite place to meet up with my friends, or just bring a book I am reading. The best part!? You can also order the food to take home!”

“Met a very knowledgeable employee that I am so happy she took her time to give me recommendations based on the type of wine I was looking for! Her name is Erin. What a super fun gal that took me on a tour around the store to explain the history of wines that I was looking for. She recommended so many wines and even stepped outside of my ideal wine that's similar. I asked if they did wine tasting but due to the pandemic, they discounted it! She tried to send me somewhere that does but I don't want to go anywhere else because I wanted her! Erin was singing her way through this pleasant tour and was dancing around. She is so fun!! If you don't know much about wine, definitely stop here.Perks - Erin can say Gewürztraminer. (Herb & Spice wine!!)”

“I know it’s a wine place, but their curated beer selection is incredible. I could’ve closed my eyes and picked anything from the 2-3 small coolers and been happy. They carried a Brooklyn Brewery sour, a Lagunitas N/A, several brews from Bad Weather and Bald Man, many imports, and more. I got to taste a few Japanese beers and sakes while I was there, plus I chatted with a champagne vendor who was visiting. The staff was super knowledgable and approachable.”

“This place has an amazing selection of wine. Price points are a little bit higher than I like but you can find anything you’re looking for. The cheese selection next-door is also very good. The employees aren’t overly friendly but helpful if I needed them.”

“I reeeeally dig this spot. They have ever changing options for craft beers and there is always something new to try. I love the vast selection of sours they have. I also enjoy that they sell single cans of new things, so you don't have to commit to something you've neve tried. The cashiers are always super friendly and helpful. The prices are decent compared to other spots in town. I say stop in and check em out!”

“I've been here a handful of times for their coursed menu and most recently the offerings were delicious. From the parsnip soup to the fried gnocchi, and then the black cod which had the crispiest skin I've ever tasted on a fish combined with melt in your mouth tenderness underneath. Still thinking about how they were able to achieve that.Basically, do their coursed meal and come hungry and you will not be disappointed.”

“Trader Joe's is Trader Joe's. As someone who doesn't eat a lot of prepackaged food, I don't see why people love it so much. SO MUCH PACKAGING WASTE.That said, the staff is always very friendly and helpful. And I don't mind stopping here for a couple of items as it's the only option on the way home from work. The parking lot though is a bit of a wreck.”

“We've been meaning to check out Keenan's for years. Wow. We've been missing out! Pool tables, darts, board games, pull tabs, touch tunes AND a pinball machine? All the things. Loved the diverse patrons and have already been back again within a week. The food is TASTY and decent serving size for the price. We ordered French fries, fried chicken sandwich, Chicago dog and the mixed green salad. Loved all of it!”

“Great neighborhood liquor store with a large selection! They also host some cool events, like champagne tastings, and post pop-up things on instagram (rare bourbon scavenger hunts, etc.). Staff are all super helpful and prices are reasonable.”

“Friendly service good selection of everyday wine, great selection of craft beer, has some gluten free beer, willing to find specific products if you ask and it’s available. Price is good. Has a beer cave with the typical beer cave products. I shop here often, it’s my preferred store.”

“Definitely the best beer and liquor selection in the area. The wine selection is... fine. I mean, I like $5 wine from Trader Joe's so what do I know?! Anyway, Top Value is a result nice store with a good collection.”

“A very well equipped neighborhood liquor store. The employees were very helpful. I came in just to check out what kind of selection of whiskey they had. At the entrance there was a tasting table with wines and whiskeys and right away an employee greeted me in the whiskey isle and offered suggestions. The feeling I got from this Edina liquor store was something to this effect: "we are a higher class of society here, but are willing to help others find what they need because we want to spread the wealth we enjoy here in Edina", unlike other liquor stores such as France 44 liquor who has this attitude: "come into our store where we will act snobbish and are too good to serve the the peasants below us".”
