Myself & some friends took their 2 hour intro pottery class at their St. Anthony location. We had a blast! It was so much fun to try and we all were able to take 3 pieces home. Keen was our instructor and was amazing! Highly recommend!

We got a couple gift cards to come to Dock 6 Pottery for a wine night and treated it as date night. I loved this! We took a 1 night class, and I forgot our instructors name but they used to be a clay instructor at a school and you could totally tell. All employees there were incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and chill. I have recommended date night at Dock 6 to everyone I know - even as a self date. Wine night is $60 per person and you have to be 21+ yrs to attend. You bring your own wine, so if you are an adult looking for a child-free space and don't drink, this is still a good option and you can just bring something else to drink. Class started with an intro to throwing and the wheel in general. It was much harder than I thought it would be and I work in a creative job and have taken clay classes in the past -- but my husband thought it was a breeze (my husband, the software engineer who proclaims he doesn't have a creative bone in his body). The instructor helped whenever I needed and showed us different techniques to create different vessels. In the end, we could each save 3 vessels we made and choose which glaze for them to be fired with. This is an amazing deal - you get to do one very small part of the clay throwing process, give some creative direction, and then come back to pick up your finished pieces a few weeks later. So, in my opinion, these classes are a great value. One note - it was hard to drink and work with the clay at the same time because my hands were all sloppy from the clay. I still grabbed my lil cup for wine sips throughout the class anyway. Idk why you're still reading this and haven't booked a class yet - go on!

My sister and I did a wine and pottery night here. Was so much fun! Byo wine and learn how to throw clay on the wheel. The instructor was fantastic! Super helpful and positive. We made a few small items and got to choose 3 that we wanted to keep. They glaze, and fire, your pieces for you. It was about 3 weeks for them to be ready for pick up. Wished there would have been maybe a few more color choices for the glaze but, other than that, I would definitely do this again! Grab a few friends and have a fun evening at this place!

We had such a great time on a clay date! Our instructor, Risa, was so great. I can't believe how much we learned and accomplished while still silenting throwing or chatting. We each made three pieces we are excited about. I can't wait to go back for more classes.

Took a class with Carla. She was not only an amazing and precise teacher but she was kind and funny. I had an absolute blast and for the price I felt like it was a slammin deal. I will be back again!

Found an awesome creative outlet here! I have always wanted to experience pottery and Dock 6 made it possible. I love the things I created! Jonathan was a great teacher. I took the 3 week course and learned a lot about pottery. I just finished my 6 week course as well. I'm looking to enroll in open studio membership. They have a new location in St. Anthony with tons of parking which is always a plus! The vibe is airy and bright at the studio. Very inviting! Rissa, Sid and Alex are great teachers are awesome teachers as well!!

Perfect Clay date for my mom's birthday. The class was fun, instructor was very helpful. the 2 hours flew by. Everyone in out group would do it again and may even sign up for more classes! Would definitely recommend for family fun, date night and everything in between

Worst customer service. I live 45 minutes away, we are under a severe winter storm warning with un-drivable weather conditions. When called to say we physically cannot make it to class & request money back not only was there a lack of understanding but overall rude demeanor.

Wonderful pottery store that opened in St Anthony, which also offers pottery classes. There is something for all comers at the pottery store with prices ranging from $3 to $500. Beautiful pottery and artwork and excellent service. We found some beautiful bowls to add to our serving set! We will make this a regular place to visit.

The class was great and a fun experience. Unfortunately there were a couple oversights that impact my review. One of my pieces was glazed in the wrong color which was a huge bummer. Also, despite all of our communication being through email, somehow the completion notification went to junk mail. It might be helpful to have folks leave a preference for a call or email notification when pieces are complete or to call to follow-up.
