Would provide 0 stars if possible. From our experience there is a reason they have sold the business/changed focus. The change does not alleviate their primary issue of communication and overall customer service. The only people that knew what they were doing or communicated were the installers. If you choose to work with them know they are awful with communication and overall customer service from the administrative/sales/corporate level. I would highly advise looking elsewhere for your project.

I got a quote for a fireplace from Condor in the summer of 2022 for an upcoming new construction project. I reached back out to them this year, in August 2023, to place our order and get a quote for stonework. However, I was not able to get a hold of anyone on the phone despite calling multiple times and trying multiple extensions. We tried driving out to their showroom at 8282 Arthur Street NE, which we had visited last summer, but a different business is now located there. They have no address or showroom hours listed on their website, which leads me to believe perhaps they've gone out of business.

I paid for the gas insert almost 4 months ago. Since then, I have received ZERO communication from them. Sales rep said she'd call me and never did. Absolutely nothing happens unless I call. The few people who have been out (only after I call) have been nice but seem to have no idea about the project. I still have no fireplace. How hard can it be to make a simple phone call and provide some customer service?

We have been trying to get our fireplace installed for over 7 months, and it's still essentially a hole in the wall. Condor has claimed we ordered the wrong part but the salesman (Jeff) has not responded to any of my messages.When we had some of the installers in the house, they were very helpful and super friendly but we've been waiting on this for a laughably long time. We can't mount or TV until the fireplace is done so it's put our main living space in disarray for several months.I will be happy to edit this post if it gets resolved at some point.Edit: we finally got it installed and we do love it. However I can't recommend based on lack of communication and timing.

I’ve emailed them on 5/17, 5/24, and 6/1 regarding my fireplace start-up with three different people from Condor on all of the emails and none of my emails have been returned.

We contacted Condor Fireplace and Stone in early November 2021 on the recommendation of a relative to have a gas fireplace insert placed in our old wood-burning fireplace. The salespeople came out quickly, provided a quote with an install in "the next 2 or 3 weeks. This is November, remember, so we were hoping to have it done by December. You know, in time to use it during the winter, when a fireplace is actually useful and nice to have. What followed was 6 MONTHS of the most unprofessional, inept, and disorganised service I've ever seen. First, it was weeks before we even heard from Condor again. They needed to schedule a gas line install before any other work could begin. The installer came out once in early December, drilled some holes, and then nothing for a few more weeks. By now it's January, everyone has COVID, I get it. Things are slowed down and they emailed me to say the install would be done in February. Fine. It happens. However, they were frequently promising that the installers would be by in the next week or so, and they would never show up. This went on until MARCH, 4 months after we started this process and 3 months AFTER they said this process would be done. At this point we requested that they refund us our money because they clearly were unable to complete the project. Just like that, the gas got installed the next day, and the installers were coming by a few days after. Good, right? EXCEPT, somehow in the process the sales people neglected to tell anyone that the mantle of our fireplace is made of wood, despite us pointing that out to several people in the company. As a result, they had to do additional work to get the fireplace area prepped, which we found out the day the installers showed up. This took an additional 2 MONTHS TO COMPLETE. It took a full 6 months since we signed a contract before the fireplace was completed. The finished product looks worse than before. They dodge my calls and ignore emails. It's the summer, I can't believe that they're actually busy right now. Dealing with them has been a hilarious farce. Don't hire these people for anything.

We had a great experience finding the right selections and visually seeing many different types of stone and fireplaces. They have one of the best stone and fireplace show rooms I have seen.

We would like to send a shout-out to Ryan at Condo for helping us pick stone out for our front of the house remodel. There are so many different stones to choose from, it was overwhelming at first. Ryan listened and offered his professional opinions, which helped to narrowed the options down. Thus, in the end, made the stone selection easy! I also very much appreciated hearing your ideas and encouragement I was making good decisions.

We worked with Ryan to convert our existing wood burning fireplace to a gas in time for Thanksgiving 2021. He offered suggestions to best suit our needs and then got us hooked up with everything we needed in a very timely manner.

We had a great experience at Condor, particularly due to the help we received from Ryan Thiede as we selected our stone. We had a general idea what we wanted coming in, and with Ryan's deep knowledge and design expertise we quickly came to see that we needed to go a different direction. With his guidance we created a timeless design that will work much better in our home. Even though we have a lot of experience designing and building homes, his help will make the finished product much better!

Our experience at Condor Fireplace was tremendous. They have a great selection of stone products, fireplaces, and a nice showroom that highlights many options. It was very easy for us to visualize our future fireplace and stone by looking at the displays. Our experience was especially great because of the service that we received from Ryan Thiede. I would choose Condor again and recommend them to anyone solely due to our experience working with Ryan!!! Ryan went above and beyond to properly size our fireplace insert and help us select exactly what we needed. Additionally, he was very patient and collaborative in assisting us with selecting the stone to complement our new room design. His design experience and knowledge of the products really helped reinforce our decisions and feel excited about our project.

My husband and I went to Condor to look for stone for our fireplace. We went in with an idea for what we wanted and we ended up being helped by Ryan Thiede. He was awesome! We told him what we had in mind and he completely changed what I thought I wanted and he was so right! He led us in a completely different direction. His knowledge of the product and design expertise really gave me a whole different idea. He was so helpful and really knew what would look great. He was also able to help with all of the building questions my husband had. We are so happy we went here! Ryan gave us a great experience at Condor!

We visited a number of places to pick out stone for our new home. Condor was by far and away the best. I would not go anywhere but Condor. They were amazing, but the real star of our experience was our salesman, Ryan Thiede. Ryan was patient, very knowledgeable, charismatic, and went way beyond what you might expect, to make sure we got something that we liked and best fit the color scheme of our home. He made a stressful decision just plain fun!Anyone looking to hire a wonderful person/salesman, Ryan is your guy.
