“I've been extremely impressed with Heartland ever since I started banking with them when they opened their branch in Hugo a year ago. Out of the gates I saved a bunch of money refinancing my truck loan to a lower rate and the folks at the Hugo location are super helpful and friendly. The Minnesota DMV messed up my title transfer (go figure) and Amanda the branch manager was on top of it right away to get it corrected. When my 7 year old wanted to set-up her very first bank account, they went above and beyond - explaining to her how everything worked with a savings account, how to bring her money to the bank to keep it safe, etc. and gave her a little kids piggy bank as well. Believe the hype - there really are a lot of benefits to working with a small, local financial institution and you can tell Heartland cares about you as a customer!”

“I was hoping to leave this review sooner but were in the middle of buying a home. I want to give a shout out to Shinna. We were in the process of selling our home and we met the guy to do the transaction of his check. Both parties were nervous about signing the check over and putting the title in his name. Shinna was very understanding of the situation and very patience with helping both parties through the transaction. She was very helpful on helping us letting us know she would be available in the drive through if the lobby was closed. We made it back in time, She could tell I was super excited about selling our house so when everything was done she congratulationed us on the sale of our home and was excited with me. “The Church and the school, and all the people. All of my kids went through the school, and 2 of my grandkids are currently there. The teachers and staff are wonderful, and all the parishioners are friendly and inviting. We've always had wonderful priests there. The sermons of the priest and deacon are always interesting and on the mark. We did not pick this church. A year after my wife and I wed, we went house hunting all over St Paul. We ended up buying a house a mile from the church. We joined the parish in 1972, and have been happy parishioners ever since!”
