“Strongly recommend taking the tour. The local tour team led by Tony did a very good job making the experience the best it could be. Answered questions while providing interesting information on how orders are fulfilled.”
“1. This is my Amazon Fulfillment Center. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
2. My Amazon Fulfillment Center is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life.
3. My Amazon Fulfillment Center, without me, is useless. Without my Amazon Fulfillment Center, I am useless. I must ensure its operations run smoothly. I must manage it more effectively than my competitor who is trying to outperform me. I must outpace them before they outpace me. I will...
4. My Amazon Fulfillment Center and myself know that what counts in this competition is not the packages we dispatch, the noise of our conveyors, nor the buzz of our drones. We know that it is the deliveries that count. We will deliver...
5. My Amazon Fulfillment Center is human, even as I, because it is my life. Thus, I will learn it as a brother. I will learn its weaknesses, its strength, its systems, its processes, its layout, and its technology. I will ever guard it against the ravages of inefficiency and breakdown as I will ever guard my legs, my arms, my eyes, and my heart against damage. I will keep my Amazon Fulfillment Center efficient and ready. We will become part of each other. We will...
6. Before God, I swear this creed. My Amazon Fulfillment Center and myself are the defenders of my livelihood. We are the masters of our market. We are the saviors of my career.
7. So be it, until victory is America’s and there is no competitor, but peace!!”
“Not much information from a trucker so I'll leave this review for others!! This is a very nice facility to come to - I was unloaded pretty quick and the dude to meet us at the door and unload us was SUPER nice!! It was my first time going through snow and I was late, but he was super nice about it and congratulated me on navigating the road and making it there safely. They have restrooms, and MIGHT let you park somewhere nearby. It all depends on your appointment time and who's working. Our appointment time was at 1:30am, and signs say recieving doesn't open until 6am, but honestly just try your luck and head straight there! We did, and we got in the gate before 6am. To actually get here, you'll have to cross the railroad tracks and go all the way around the block. Its basically a one-way and theres a sign at the tracks saying DONT TURN LEFT. You'll see a "9 ton weight limit" when you go straight, but dont worry about it. Keep going straight. Its an old sign. Youll see other trucks coming and going past the sign at other facilities. When you see the big Amerisource letters, and the employee parking in the front, keep going down the road to the back of the building. You'll see trucks before you see the gate! To check in, you're gonna go in the first door on the corner of the building. That's also where the restrooms are. Very easy backing, just hard when everything is covered in snow! I had a 1:30am appointment time though, so the snow plows didn't start coming until after I got into a door.”
“Arrived at 7 for an 8:00 appointment, in a dock immediately. This is a Murphy warehouse not a silgan facility although silgan is on the sign, albeit in much smaller letters.”
