Pharmacy seems to be understaffed for the last 1+ years as Rxs for me & my spouse are rarely ready when expected/promised. If you need your Rx in a hurry, go somewhere else.

****update 8/13/24 ****
Here’s the Hy-Vee problem solving method. Respond on comments asking people to please reach out to their customer care email. If you waste your time emailing them you will be told that someone else from the store will contact you. Maybe that person will know somebody that gives a dam.
******************
I downloaded the Hy-Vee app as recommended by a Hy-Vee employee. I used it to place a prescription refill. I was able to select a date and time to pick up my order. The order was placed on Saturday, for a Monday pickup. I arrived at the designated time and was told that they could/would not fill the prescription.
There was NO COMMUNICATION from Hy-Vee that they couldn't/wouldn't do what they said they would.
So I wasted a lot of time and gas on something that could have been avoided with a simple email or phone call.
This pharmacy has also given me other people's prescriptions in the past, as well as charged me for items that have a zero copay. If you have any other options to use other than this place, it would have to be a better choice and experience in my opinion.

They don’t have medication’s filled even when they have been called in. They asked for a 24 hour wait on fills and don’t answer their phones for days when busy.

The main pharmacist (Kevin?) is nice and helpful but I gotta say that it seems like there's just a constant dumpster fire going on with everyone else in there. Similar to how I feel about the store as a whole. Even when it appears slow, I'm waiting for help or any type of communication. My prescriptions don't even get filled unless I call or wait several days which maybe is the norm for Minnesota, I'm not sure...
Asked a question and sat down and waited for over 10 minutes before I got up and left. The person who initially helped me said he was waiting on one of the pharmacists to help but never got back to me and of the 5 people behind the desk, none of them asked what I was waiting on. I'm not even sure the person at the register asked my question about a prescription we were waiting on.
Just doesn't seem like there's any communication and it causes longer wait times for everyone. Staff isn't rude by any means just seems like everyone is in training or something.

Nothing but one lie after another with constant IT issues. Last night after being told my prescription was "stuck" due to an IT issue, I was told I could pick up the medication in one hour. BOLD face lie. Then I was told it would be available in the morning. Another BOLD face lie. Then after talking to them on the phone & being told they fixed the IT issue that they'd fill the prescription right away, I show up 45 minutes later and they still hadn't filled the prescription! Each time I go in to pick up a prescription it takes 15-30 minutes before I have the prescription in hand because they're so dog gone slow. They're supposed to call or send a text when the prescription is filled, yet I get texts about 10% of the time and I NEVER get a call when it's filled, so very inconsistent notification process. I am done with this pharmacy and going back to CVS!

Sometimes the line is long but they are worth the wait. Always above and beyond helping folks with insurance and prescription information which can take time. I’m very pleased with the service me and my adult daughter gets here.
Highly recommended to friends and family

This is my second time using this pharmacy in Shakopee and they have been truly wonderful. They always seem to have my prescription available and they are ALWAYS polite when I call or come to pick up. I’ve been using a smaller mom & pop pharmacy near my house for a few years so I am used to quality service - this pharmacy team is just as good, if not better.

The pharmacy staff is mostly good. I've only have only had 2 incidents with the same female pharmacist. Their system is outdated and if you have to send a request to your doctor your order is never filled by the pharmacy staff. It sits there until you make an extra trip to the pharmacy because they don't go back and look at the system to see if they received a reply back from them. I usually have to make 6 trips because of the lack of follow-up. for my monthly meds that are all filled on the same day. My last trip here was unacceptable. I waited 3 hours for my meds to be filled when they had the requests on their end 7 days prior. The mostly nice staff is no longer a reason to keep my business here. The lack of organization and followup has wasted my time for the last time.

Please get more qualified help. Lately things have been bad with picking up my medication. Not enough in stock and getting only a partial fill. That costs me more gas and time to keep driving back to get something that is supposed to be 1 month's supply, and is not in stock. This is why I left my old pharmacy.

We got our sons birthday cake from the Hy-Vee bakery and loved it! I did the cake topper decor but they did a wonderful job with the frosting. My only complaint was the box they put the cake in. It was too small and it was tapped and not sturdy. I wish they would have an assortment of cake box sizes to fit different cakes.

Worst pharmacy in the city. Stand at counter for 15 minutes while people in back look at me. No one acknowledged me so I left. I will never go here again nor will I buy the overpriced groceries.

Good grocery store. Avoid their "Hy-Chi" prepared Chinese food offering at all costs.Standard steamed white rice made slightly brown with soy sauce, while still tasteless, and with the tiniest bits of scrambled egg hidden inside, and nothing else, is NOT "fried rice." Unless you're at HyVee. All but one meat entree option is breaded - and by breaded I mean four parts breading to one part meat. Almost substanceless. Also, never have I been so close to saying No Thanks, Nevermind after the dish had been prepared, considering it was a generous pile of that tasteless uninteresting rice, and literally the smallest amount possible of entree that could still be classified as a "scoop." Felt instantly cheated. Egg rolls should have some crisp. Some crunch. Theirs have never been in the same room as where those words have ever even been spoken. What a phenomenal waste of money. Literally looked around for supplemental food options on the way out, just for serving amount reasons, despite it being a "two-entree meal." Never again.

I have given Shakopee Hy-Vee many chances. I’ve received the wrong Aisles on line order, ordered an Easter meal and was given the wrong order, gone in only to notice the hibachi grills were closed on multiple occasions and today tipped me over the edge. I went there esp for the Hibachi and there was an employee making a meal for another customer The employee told me the hibachi grill was closing and to come back in 20 min. When I asked him if 5:30 was ok to come back he said no that the employee called in sick. Well he was clearly making a meal for someone so frustrating. Went to Savage Hy-vee and had a great experience…guess I’ll be going there from now on.
