Darryl, the tall gentleman is one of the most taciturn and grumpy employees I have ever encountered. No hello, no have a nice day. Just “Cash or Card” grumbled at me as if customers are an annoyance to him. All other employees are nice, courteous and helpful. But Darryl seems like he doesn’t want to work.

I have been to this establishment many times. Yes it is pretty clean but that is why I chose to go there. However this last time, I was refused to use the restroom. I was literally shocked! I asked the girl, "so you are open but I can't use the restroom?" She said yes and I asked her if it would make a difference if I bought something and she said no. I asked her to tell the owner something for me and let her know is against the law, pretty sure it's called discrimination. Won't go back for sure.

Stopped in for a few items and after paying, I realized the change given back to me was 8 dollars short. I tried to explain the problem, but was just cut off, so I asked the old man who owns the place to re-do the math, he replied, "why the f@%k would i wanna do that?" That day he gained 8 undeserved dollars, but lost a customer. Finding out around town that this happens a lot. Count your change neighbors.

Stopped here to grab some snacks after visiting Taylor’s Falls over Labor Day weekend and was appalled when I walked in. Not a single person in the store wearing a mask, including the young gal working!! I sat in the parking lot after I left and observed for a few minutes..countless people in and out and only 2 wore masks. Shocking and frustrating! It is the MN law but I guess in Shafer, Minnesota the law doesn’t apply. Puhl-ease!!! Reported not only to the county and state but also to corporate BP.

Up for a small vacation with my kids. Stopped at the store to grab s’mores stuff. Not one person wearing a mask. Not one customer or the employee.In fact I heard the employee tell a customer that she only wears one as a courtesy, to which the customer replied “well I don’t want anyone telling me it’s the law when it’s not. And I ain’t no sheep”. I could tell he said it loud enough so I could hear him- since I just walked in wearing a mask.Hey- just so you know, it IS the law and we DID report you- not that any of the bumpkin cops around here would care. Thought these small towns were all about law and order- well, this should be your moment to shine!I will be spreading the word around the twin cities for those who come to the sculpture garden- just so they know NOT to stop at your store.#maskupMN

Watched 12-15 people come and go with no masks on, clerk inside seems to think wearing one on your chin helps.I guess small town MN didn’t get the memo.Morons

I love this place so much I have gone here since I was a little kid but the owner has really became a j*** so I'm not going there anymore. Reasons I'm not going there anymore is because the owner will talk about you and say mean stuff and sometime even through your stuff at you but there is a gastation across the street and I really recommenced that place might be a little worn down but the service is nice and the staff are awesome thank you and plz don't go there.
