Just set up service for another year with North Shore Lawn. They really whipped my place into shape last year after some less than successful DIY'ing before that. I use them for weeds, fertilizer, dethatch, aeration, and overseeding. Been excellent to work with and I have referred them to everyone I know!

Retail lawn care programs…..waste of time and money. Want results quickly, call North Shore Lawn Service in Forest Lake. Never have seen results like this on crabgrass and creeping charlie after only 2 applications. My neighbor even commented on my lawn.This is my 3rd home and have always treated my lawn religiously on my own through retail programs with little results. What a waste of time, never again!Service: Weed control

We had a lot of dandelions, creeping Charlie, clover, and crabgrass. Since Ryan starting treating our lawn the weeds are gone and our grass looks fantastic. It looks so good that two of our neighbors are now using North Shore Lawn for their yards. North Shore Lawn does an outstanding job. Even going above and beyond spraying the weeds that are in the cracks of our driveway. If you want your yard to be the talk of the neighborhood North Shore Lawn is the company to go with!Service: Weed control

We had a smaller landscape project (removing gravel, sloping for proper drainage, add black dirt and lay sod) along our driveway. I reached out to Ryan and he responded right away.As other people have mentioned, getting service contractors to respond is often a challenge.This is our first experience with North Shore Lawn and it was completely positive.Ryan returned my call promptly, made an appointment to look at the project, showed up on time and emailed a bid within a few days.He performed the work to our complete satisfaction. The sod he laid was beautiful.... freshly cut that morning.I was so impressed with his sod work, and even though I had no intention originally, I plan to use him for fertilizing and probably mowing services next year.Ryan is a good guy and you will be happy with his dedication and work ethic.Service: Sod installation

First year we’ve used Ryan and we couldn’t be happier. Had him do Spring cleanup + fertilize and spray for weeds throughout the summer. First thing that stood out was the responsiveness. Seems like it’s harder and harder to get someone to answer or return a service call. Not with Ryan, he got back to us quickly and had a quote or way in a few days. He’s also been proactive in calling to check in and hear how the lawns looking. And we don’t have to ask him when he’s gonna come back out for the treatments, he reaches out to let us know. We use non-organic on most of the lawn but appreciate his willingness to spray organic in the garden areas and kids playground space. Most of all the lawn looks better than it ever has. We’re on acreage and have a pond that’s had creeping charlie and crab crass spreading throughout our lawn for years - not this year! More green and thick than ever. And no early summer dandelion battles! We’ll be using him for fall cleanup and seeding as well. We can’t recommend North Shore Lawn enough!

We have loved working with North Shore Lawn LLC for fall and spring clean up! We had such a positive experience - clear communication, easy to do business with, thoughtful and friendly - that we've decided to hire them to help fill in our lawn and bring it "back to life" ..! In September 2019, I contacted North Shore Lawn because I was having surgery in early-October and needed to have a dependable company that could come to our farm each week to mow the yard, do trimming, do special landscaping jobs that I've wanted to get done for a long time, and fall clean-up during October and November.Ryan is dependable, professional, and goes above and beyond in terms of customer service. The first week, he and an assistant trimmed back overgrown trees that had grown far too tall and wide. They took about two feet off the sides and trimmed all around the trees to create more compact and beautiful trees. It is a MUCH better entry to our home and we aren't battling with overgrown vegetation as we walk up the porch steps and into our home.The second week that Ryan was here was a simple mowing of the lawn and trimming. Everything looked so nice after he was done. He even blows away the cut grass and leaves from the walkway and driveway, giving the yard a clean and orderly look.The third week, the focus was on a perennial garden that had become overgrown by the middle of the summer. There are many flowers planted in the garden, yet various grasses and weeds overtook it. The best bet - and most financially feasible - was cutting everything back as Ryan suggested. What a difference!! We have not seen this part of the yard look so trimmed and ready to be maintained in the Spring. We will be able to distinguish now between weeds and perennial flowers in the Spring and be able to stay ahead of the weeds. Next year, the garden should be colorful and filled with flowers thanks to the prep work now that Ryan did.The other major project that he did was clearing away brush and overgrown trees next to the home. Living in an old 1890 farm home, the vegetation got too close to the home and was a welcome nesting area for animals we didn't want need next to the foundation. Also, the trees had grown spindly and were not as attractive as they were when they were first planted.We made the decision to remove four larger trees/shrubs that were not doing anything to enhance the home or yard. Having all four removed dramatically changed how light and bright it is on the inside of the home!!!Having the trees removed also lets the air move more freely around the home which will reduce the green spots and streaks on the siding. We will have the siding power washed in the Spring to clean off the siding and we will transplant hostas (which are already growing under our front pine trees) in the area where the trees once were. This will fill in the area without covering the side of the home again.Having a dependable, hardworking, and affordable team from North Shore Lawn who wanted to see the best for their customers is a business we want to get behind and support! We are so happy they are located in town so we can support local business owners!

I was more than unhappy with True Green They did partial lawn treatments because they repeatedly didn't bring enough product, several no shows, and no improvement in lawn codition. Ryan does a great job! My lawn looks great and the cost is much more reasonable.

It’s my first year with North Shore Lawn and after talking to many other services Ryan was an easy choice. Great value, easy to work with, and he lets me know when he will be here. And of course the yard is looking the best it has in 10 years! Go local and skip the national chain.

Ryan is meticulous in doing my yard ,as is Steve,who does the trim and blowing patio etc.This year,Ryan began doing my lawn treatments as wellI began using Norrh Shore lastvyear,when I could no longer mow.I have people who walk by tell me my lawn never looked so greatCall them!
