Waste Management is awful. They miss services all the time but you have to call in each time to get a credit for missed services. However, they automatically bill you if your lid is not closed. They also cut the yard waste pickup to every other week which I difficult with a large yard. They are inconsistent and don't seem to care when you talk to customer service. Would not recommend.

DISSATISFIED with the solid waste extra service. I called for Christmas tree curb pick up, was on hold for 60 min and then told trees were only picked up the first 2 weeks in Jan? Today is Jan 18? The customer service rep told me she opened a ticket, and I would receive a call back. Surprisingly she did call me back, but only to tell me that my request was denied!! Why wouldn't this large company offer this extra service that I pay for through the entire month of Jan? Also, I was told that if you pay for that service, you need to call to schedule a pickup? But yet you can pay your bill online? They need to have an option to request pick up online so that paying customers don't have to WASTE 60 min on hold!

My bill has increased every single quarter with various fees, surcharges, and price increases. Billing and communication of holiday pickups is poor and frequently missed. WM has never corrected a missed collection to my satisfaction. I highly recommend anybody except WM!

My trash and yard waste are routinely not picked up on time. I have to leave my carts out for upwards of two to three extra days making me look like a lazy/bad neighbor. “Proactive emails” about the pick up delay come at night or the next morning (by that time I’ve already deduced you aren’t coming…again). Attempts to contact them are hard - can never find a way to speak/chat with a human - not an AI bot who seems to only be able to help me make a payment. Unsure how they justify raising rates especially without any sort of warning/announcement. Switching to another company once Yard waste pick up season ends. I should have listened to my neighbors who warned me not to sign with WM.

it has a system that is easy to work with. Standard experience over 2 times of moving. Reasonable price with transparency. Love it.
