Put in the wrong size shower and took six times to get it not to leak. Took a job that should not have even taken six weeks and made it take six months. Won’t admit their mistake of the shower measurements insisting that it’s right. Really should change the name of the company to Lowmark or Can’t Hit the Mark.

The work was supposed to be done in June, but we are still waiting. They often don’t show up when they say they will. Weeks will go by without any work being done. The supervisor was supposed to come out whenever work was being done, and that hasn’t happened. They have made numerous mistakes, which they are still in the process of correcting, leading to further delays. When we find additional water damage, rather than talking to the adjuster, they simply tell us that the work is not on the job specification sheet, so we then have to contact the adjuster. Restorations by Highmark was the General Contractor for extensive work in multiple rooms of my house. The work was really well done and they were very easy to work with. They were very attentive and wanted to make sure we were happy with the results. I would happily hire them again!

The kitchen sink overflowed on Christmas Eve and caused water damage on our wood floors and downstairs ceiling and speakers. We contacted Restorations by Highmark and they quickly assessed the damages and how to restore our floors and fix the damages. They were prompt, thorough, and developed a plan and timeline to take care of the issue. All staff members were courteous, friendly, and professional. We were happy with all aspects of the cleanup, repair, and follow-up. They were there when we needed them and we are very happy to recommend them to anyone.Service: Water damage-related cleanup & repair

You can't beat these guys! Dave, Josh, Kyle, and the rest of the Highmark team did an awesome job on the restoration from the ice dam damage at our home. They were extremely professional, friendly, and hard working throughout the project. I would recommend them to everyone. 10/10 for the Highmark Team!

Ice dams had formed on my roof which had led to water leaking into the house and damaging my kitchen ceiling. Brandon Soleta called me back on the Saturday I started searching for assistance and was extremely helpful and kind from the start. We set a plan for him to come out on Monday. Highmark helped to remove the ice dams, demo all of the damaged areas and dry out the walls.The whole Highmark team was great! They were friendly, professional and attentive. If I could leave a negative star review here I would as one star is too generous. Dave Maurer was a nightmare to deal with, my wife called him over a week after we were told our gas fireplace needed to be ripped out because of water running underneath it and he said it wasn’t even scheduled yet. My wife pushed back because we wanted to get the water dried out to prevent mold because we have two small children and he invalidated our concerns just saying we have to understand that’s not how things work. Then my wife pushed back some more because we wanted the situation taken care of then Dave proceeded to say that we have been too demanding and controlling and made up lies about what my wife said citing those as red flags and quit the job on us. Dave also stated that Kyle and Zach and all of the techs would go back to the shop and gossip about what awful people we are and they’ve been talking about quitting this job for a while, which caught us by surprise because these concerns were never addressed with us. Dave and the whole Highmark company were extremely rude and unprofessional and lacked basic customer service skills, I feel taken advantage of. If anyone reading this is considering using Highmark for any of your needs let me save you the time and headache, look somewhere else.Services: Water damage-related pest control

We had a small fire in my office on a Friday afternoon and these guys were amazing they came out over the weekend set up mitigation got everything ready for us so we didn’t lose any business and were able to open on Monday! Restorations by Highmark responded to our situation (house 2nd story flood) onsite within hours and completed the mitigation within a couple of days. We were also able to leverage Highmark to complete the restoration over the coming weeks and couldn't be more satisfied with their work and sense of urgency along the way. Their leads and project managers provided excellent communication, worked with my insurance company and delivered an exceptional experience.Services: Water removal

Restoration by Highmark was chosen by us to complete a rebuild involving work that extended beyond our insurance claim. We offered them the opportunity for even more work if they did a decent job on the base rebuild. Story short, we will never work with them again. From them advising the job would take only two weeks, only to take over four months to complete, to damaging our existing property with minimal to no reparations…we could not recommend them less. The work was shoddy - incorrect measurements, taking shortcuts, not documenting our requests only to “forget” and force us to decide between the only available options once we brought it up, and either not notifying us of when workers would be on site or having no one show up when they were supposed to. This was over four months while we were also living at the property, so it was highly disruptive to school and work schedules to not be able to trust their schedule (or lack thereof).Services: Water damage-related cleanup & repair
