“Wonderful hotel, really nice room, FANTASTIC Staff. Nice to be at a location that understands parking for 4 Motor Coaches and blocks enough spots to accommodate us.”

“For the most part, the rooms are quite nice and clean. However, I'm not sure how recently the HVAC has been cleaned - my allergies flared up like crazy throughout the night in the room, and I hadn't dealt with this issue in a long time. Looking at a few other reviews, I've seen this as a complaint before. This hotel has a solid location in Bloomington. Complementary parking was a huge plus on the positive. However, the parking lot was slippery even though it hadn't snowed recently - I'd recommend they become more conscientious of this by using grit and/or ice melt more frequently throughout the parking lot to prevent customers from slipping during the winter months. Staff was decent - answered most of my questions as needed and were friendly. This was the first time I'd stayed at this location while in Bloomington, as I've stayed at two other locations here. I'd rank this hotel in the middle of the pack of the three I've stayed at. I'd say 4-stars is appropriate for this location.”

“Rooms: Not especially cleanNearby activities: Connected to M.O.A.Walkability: It was a nightmare to park and find our room. Other hotels very near that would be less busy and easier to navigate.”

“Great location for our needs. Hotel was clean, quiet, beds and pillows were comfortable. Check in was super easy, elevators were fast, M Club had some snacks. The only minor complaint we had was the bathroom in our room had no ventilation fan or one that worked. Would definitely stay here again.”

“Even though the Mall of America is about a 10-15 minute walk away, they offer a shuttle to and from which is great during cold days. You just need to call in advance for the shuttle or book it at the front desk in the lobby and they usually do it every 30 mins up until 10pm I believe (maybe 11pm...I forget). They also offer a shuttle to and from the airport. It's really nice and saves you on Uber and Lyft prices. The hotel was nice. The staff was very friendly. It is close to the airport so if you are a sensitive sleeper, just know you'll hear airplanes up until about 10pm. I'm a sensitive sleeper but it didn't bother me too much. Ear plugs helped me though. The AC worked fine. It was cold outside so I didn't need to rely on the air conditioner too much but it did what it had to do. Not the highest blowing A/C or furthest reaching but again, this is Minnesota, if you're traveling in the Fall or Winter then you don't need to rely on the AC that much. WiFi worked well. No microwave in the room but there is one in the hotel lobby. Hotel lobby is actually very nice by the way. Mini fridge is in the room and spacious. Walls in the room are a bit thin so hope you don't have loud neighbors. There's no furniture in the room besides the bed and a table and chair. Very minimalistic but I didn't mind. All floor, no carpet. Bathroom provides liquid soap, lotion, shampoo, and conditioner. Complimentary breakfast offered and was actually pretty good. Nice gym. I'd say, the hotel overall is a 4 to me for its value but I'll give it a 5 for the great staff and very helpful shuttle service. It's about 20 minutes from US Bank Stadium if you're traveling for a Vikings game or event. Plenty of food and convenience areas around.Walkability: Close to Mall of America”

“We rented a party room for the family. Christmas party and had the hotel cater. The space was exactly as described and worked perfect. Our whole family was able to be together. The food was wonderful, we had a taco bar. The food was great and this was a wonderful way to do a Christmas party. No cleanup, no cooking, central location.”

“Our international flight was delayed by a day so ended up needing to find a hotel. What an unexpected surprise. The rooms are so clean and spacious! We ended up with a runway view room and I was worried about noise but it wasn't very loud at all. I slept like a baby!It was very cold and we didn't pack for winter so we decided to just eat in the hotel. The food was great and so was the service. The airport shuttle was really nice and was quick. I would definitely make a plan to stay here again on purpose.”

“This was a great place to stay for a mid-week getaway for Spring Break. It is nice that it had separate sleep quarters from eating area. I enjoyed the pool and spa area. The bonus was the delicious breakfast which was included with the stay. On certain weeknights they also included dinner. I would definitely recommend.”

“We stayed overnight to be closer for a very early medical appointment. The hotel was very easy to locate and parking was easy. Check in was quick and the staff member was very helpful and knowledgeable. The lobby is quite appealing in design and welcoming with ample seating. We appreciated the convenience of snacks and beverages available for purchase next to the lobby. Our room was large and very clean. We were disappointed to find the fan had been disabled on the heating and cooling unit. The room was a bit too warm and we wanted to use the fan for air circulation and white noise. Our only other complaint was that the bed was too firm. The bedding was nice and the pillows were very adaptable for any type of sleep position. We didn't realize until morning that there was a top sheet very tightly folded and wrapped across the bed so we used the duvet. The room had several handy amenities including a coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave.”

“Every time I stay at the Sheraton, I am impressed by the staff. This last visit, they went above and beyond to give my husband and I a memorable anniversary stay. We received a surprise room upgrade and other personal, thoughtful touches. (Thank you, Katherine!) We stayed over the weekend, so the hotel was quiet. We enjoyed the Sheraton Club lounge with the fancy coffee maker and sparkling water, and all of the comfortable furniture in our suite. We booked the dining package and dined at Lela restaurant both nights. My husband and I were warmly welcomed and attended to by the staff. The food was delicious, too. This is a hotel we return to again and again, because we are always made to feel special. Thank you.Rooms: The beds and chaise lounges are very comfortable.Food & drinks: Lela restaurant has excellent food and drink and the best service. The Sheraton Club has a nice coffee maker and well-stocked beverage cooler.”

“Everything was good. Clean room, decent breakfast. My only beef was that the $10/day parking (which honestly is reasonable) is outsourced, so you can't get parking comped, regardless of your status. “Wonderful hotel with GREAT front desk employees! Every one of them were helpful, knowledgeable, and pleasant. The shuttle drivers were kind and helpful, also. This hotel stay made my trip to Texas even better, as I could leave my car, have a really good complimentary breakfast, and be shuttled to and from the airport. I won't stay anywhere else when I'm in "The Cities".”

“We are from FL and came to MN to visit family for our spring break. We brought our kiddos (5, 5, 8) for a 1 night stay at GWL to break up the week and celebrate my twins birthday. The kids had an absolute blast.Pros:•Queen suite with the 4 bunk beds was a great set up. It was very clean and the kids loved it. The TV in the bunk room was great for an end of day movie for them.•Although check in isn’t until 4, we came in at 1:00 and enjoyed the water park until our room was ready (we left our suitcase in car). The next day we swam until 1:00P after we checked out at 11A•Pup passes were a great deal and added a lot of in between activities (build a bear, ice cream, candy, etc)•Kids loved the waterpark and had big smiles most of the day•Dunkin donuts for breakfastCons (or really just things to be mindful of):•Although the pool is heated and feels hot and humid when you walk in, when you get out of the water it feels very cold! Most all of the kids I saw had blue lips and mine could only be in for 1-2 hours before needing to warm up a bit. Glad we packed robes for them.•Bathrooms in the pool area were lacking. Maybe it’s better not to think about it, but I’m guessing 90% or more of the kids peed in the pool. (Cold getting out of the water and not convenient. It was heavily chlorinated so that’s good ?)•Pizza was good enough, but I would have been happier with the calories if we ordered delivery pizza. It was very doughy and a bit flavorless.•We have a pool at home and I’d say my just turned 5 year olds are VERY strong swimmers. I was very nervous having them in the wave pool/lazy river. This is not anything against GWL, just something for parents to be prepared for. The tubes/bigger kids aren’t mindful of the littles, so be prepared to be a hands on parent (as we all should be when around water). All in all, very fun experience and glad we stayed the night versus doing day passes only. We would definitely return and look forward to GWL Naples opening.”

“Nice place! Only stayed here for a night but we got late night pizza snacks, it was handy having a full size oven. The place was clean, and we had ample room for our stuffOur one big issue was not having a remote control for the tv. Luckily when I called (at midnight) they were super helpful and I was able to pick up a new one. Then in the morning there was a knock on the door from maintenance returning the missing remote…”

“It is located in the Minneapolis-St. Paul Air Reserve Station. It offers nightly and weekly rates, rooms are spacious. It has a small fitness center, laundry rooms for each wing. Located near the Base Exchange and Gym. Great for Battle Assembly weekends or for travelers doing training on the Reserve Station.”

“This Motel won an award for the remodeling in 2020, and I can see why. The rooms are beautiful. They don't have that orange and yellow new Motel 6 remodel vibe. The bed was comfortable, the microwave was new, there was plenty of bathroom counter space, the shower was great even for us vertically challenged people. The refrigerator did not have a freezer compartment so I could not refreeze my blue cooler packs. The three light fixtures that weren't on the ceiling had both a grounded plug-in and a USB port, which I think is pretty essential nowadays. There is plenty of grass available for the dogs and their poop station with garbage can had plenty of sacks. The location is great, and you can park outside your room, as the doors are on the outside. I wish more motels were like this. It is a deciding factor for me when choosing a motel. I can park right in front, I can see my vehicle, and unloading is easy. The only sign I saw of residents was a grill back out in the corner, other than that, I did not see broken down vehicles, and it was very quiet. The Halal and Chinese food restaurant across the street has wonderful food. The service however, was very strange. I choose Motel 6 because they do not have a fee added on every night for a dog. But taking out a $100 hold on your debit card was a little off-putting. I mean, you have the debit card so that you can charge if they are damages, when I called to confirm my reservation, I got asked 6 or 7 times if I had dogs, and then confirming that I only had one dog. Over and over again. When I went to check in, same thing, over and over again. You have dogs? You have just one dog? You have dogs? Certainly not a way to be inviting to guests. Would it have mattered if I had to? I just don't understand this”

“I stay here regularly for the past 5 years. I'm looking at reviews mentioning roaches etc. These must have came from a recent guest as I've never once seen anything of the sort. The sheets are always clean, the fridges always work, some of the furniture yes needed upgrading, but the rooms have slowly been upgraded. New curtains, bedding, (no poo in the hot tub). There was one a couple in the room next to mine that tried to get into my room when i went downstairs, but they were promptly removed from the hotel. This can happen in any motel/hotel, and the fact that it was immediately addressed was a good feeling knowing they care about the safety of guests.”
