Ordered a replacement car battery online to have it installed at the store. Amazingly, the pickup form had no details of the car battery I ordered. The store clerk was very helpful and tried to find it, but nowhere did the details exists. I ended up having to get on the website at the store and find the battery I ordered. Why would a company allow its customers to order its products online yet provide no details on the order form when the customer goes to the store to pick up the order? Batteries Plus is missing basic customer service concepts in its operating philosophy. I can't think of a valid reason why this process is in place. Idiotic.

I had a friend call me with what appeared to be a battery problem with his vehicle. It sounded like it was potentially a faulty battery. It was around 6:35 so I Googled Batteries Plus to see how late they were open. They closed at 7:00 PM so I knew we needed to act quickly. I called the Batteries Plus in Sauk Rapids and Daryl answered and said he had the correct battery and he would wait for my friend to arrive and install the battery. Daryl not only installed the battery he also checked the alternator to make sure that was charging properly which it was. I actually own a car dealership a distance from Sauk Rapids so I am aware of what the battery should cost. I was shocked by how reasonable the price of the battery was and then Daryl installed it for free. Daryl was extremely kind and helpful. I was very impressed with the service my friend got from Daryl. Thank you Daryl, job well done. Then on top of that the following day David from the same store followed up with me to thank us for the business and also offered other services for our dealership. Being a business owner for over 35 years I have rarely seen customer service done so well! Thank you Daryl and Batteries Plus for getting my friend back on the road! Job well done!

Batteries Plus stands behind their products and solves issues quickly, on the spot. My mower needed a replacement for a battery I purchased earlier this year. No questions asked, and the battery was replaced. They are the best!!

I purchased a new battery for my car here about a month ago. When trying to install it, one of the bolts was completely seized up and the Batteries Plus employee was unable to bust it free. He suggested bringing it to a shop to have it drilled out. I did so, and asked the shop to install the battery I had already purchased. After confirming they would do that, I later picked my car up only to notice that the previously purchased battery was in the trunk, and they had installed one of their own. I brought the Batteries Plus battery back yesterday and was able to return it, no questions asked. I feel bad that the Batteries Plus employee had to spend time trying to install a battery in my car, in freezing temperatures, and in the end didn’t even end up making a sale. I do appreciate the great customer service, and will certainly return to this store when any other battery needs arise.
