Have been out of state for 5 months. Came back to step on thrift in sauk centre to new management. Higher prices. Doe not make me happy. It was fun to shop there but now???

I was way too early for my appointment in Alexandria and googled thrift stores in Sauk Centre as I pulled over in Sauk Centre. This showed up. I drove over. I like small town thrift stores as they price things accordingly and profits help social service agencies. A win win for everyone. I searched cds and records and the whole store. Needed a key to use the bathroom. I found this cute homemade rug made by persons served at STEP. It was 30"x 27" and $16.20. Amish rugs go for much higher. Plus it was made with pride. They also have a store in Staples, MN. STEP stands for Serving Teaching & Empowering People. I've worked in social services for over 20 years, so supporting this store is gratifying for me.

I love dropping in whenever I'm in Sauk Centre. Very clean little thrift store. They have a very nice selection of clothes. Many little vintage and antique items. Items are well displayed. Definitely worth a stop.

I would rate it higher but not open Saturday or Sunday and closes at 4:00 p.m during the week how can anybody that's working make it to the store.

Totally disagree with the prices are high. I come once a week from Alex’s and the prices compared to goodwill in Alex are So much lower and workers are far more friendly than goodwill
