This store is dangerous. I am not an artist but I could spend a lot of money here. I stopped in to buy Christmas presents. Super helpful staff who helped me pick out pens for my nephew who is learning Japanese and a paint set for my sister. I found some excellent journal pens for myself and even bought drawing pens. The selection is vast, prices are reasonable and staff so helpful. Love it!

I started using the framing service here a few years ago and have had a good experience on multiple pieces. The unfortunate thing about them doing a good job is that the wait is a little long. There is 5 weeks lead time as of mid November 2023. Maybe that is standard for frame shops. I typically use them for original art because I think they see more of that than a typical framing shop.

Super helpful and friendly staff. I hadn’t painted in 20 years and had started again, but wanted to give acrylics a try and I got set up with all the media I needed. Great frame service, too.

Beautiful selection of countless art supplies. One time I came in and had my eyes on some fountain pens though being in high school I unfortunately couldn't afford any at the time. A sweet woman ended up finding me on my way out of the store and had purchased a pen and gifted it to me as she overheard me telling my friends I wish I had one. This just goes to show the type of people who come in here. After the fact, a store clerk showed me how to use my pen and how to refill it for future use.

This is my go-to art supply store! They carry some higher end paint that you would otherwise need to special order online. I personally really appreciate that they also carry the full color range of Holbein gouache and acryla gouache, which is one of my favorites to work with. They also carry Schmincke watercolor and I was actually introduced to it by my favorite employee there. I’ve also really appreciated their use of gender neutral language when referring to me AND they’re dog friendly!There’s a very community forward vibe and they’re active in events in the area. They also have art classes which family members have highly recommended. I haven’t been to one personally but I absolutely would in the future.

A really neat art shop! The shop has a fountain pen section, the section has a good variety and even includes some pilots (and the prices were comparable to online stores). You can try the pen there -which I think is super valuable- and look at ink charts (come on, you know you need another ink even if you have 50 of the same shade) I also saw a nice watercolor and gouache section and crafts sectionThe staff was very friendly and no shortage of help, a must see if you want an in-person art store

Best art store in Minnesota with helpful and knowledgeable staff! It's my go to shop when I need supplies with prices only slightly higher than Amazon. I'd rather give my business to a small non-chain store than Amazon! Even if you are not an artist stop in at Wet Paint it's a great store to just browse through.

An incredible small shop filled with art supplies and passionate and knowledgeable staff. They have such care for what they do and can answer any question. They have stuff you don’t find at other stores like Michael’s or Blick - plus buy pens one at a time vs the set. Offers some fun classes too

I love this store! They have a great selection of pens, notebooks, and many other art supplies. my favorite is their selection of rubber stamps. i have found many unique tools and such for making mixed media art at this store. I definitely recommend you check it out!
