I've been going to this Walgreen's location since 2000. I just switched to the Walgreens on Randolph. This one seems to always be out of my prescriptions and it takes them a couple of weeks to get them again. If the Randolph Walgreens is out of my prescriptions they get them within three days. Why is there such a big discrepancy? They also sent me somebody else's prescriptions before. When I called them, they asked me to drive the meds to the store. I get my own meds delivered. Why would I go to the store to drop off meds that they incorrectly delivered? Why wouldn't they come get them, especially considering the HIPAA implications? I drove the meds to the management office of the intended recipient's apartment building. At least I know that she got them that way. I don't know what happened but this location has really changed for the worse in the past few years.

I have been trying to speak with a pharmacist at this location for nearly a week. I have logged a number of hours "on hold" being told there are "more than 3 callers ahead of me." Today I finally got to be the next caller and the phone rang over 50 times and then disconnected WITHOUT ever being answered. I have called and asked for other departments...Photo, Make Up... to no avail. This store simply does NOT take telephone calls. There are other nearby pharmacies that are far more interested in helping their customers.....RUN, do not walk!! This store does NOT offer any customer service at all.

Was desperately waiting for a medication and they never finished processing. It said "insurance issue" because they didn't run the card that they specifically asked me to upload. Instead, they just left me suffering for an extra day before I dragged myself in to the store where the issue was immediately "fixed" but they still hadn't bothered to try them. Where is your sense of urgency Walgreens? Why did you leave me waiting without my meds for no reason? Do you have no sense of responsibility to your patients?

Who knew I needed to check yelp before going to this pharmacy. As many others have stated, they are a nightmare not only in worker incompetence but also the pharmacist herself is deceitful. Took 2 hours of waiting to find out they filled my prescription incorrectly and were expecting me to somehow fix it, and then wait another few hours. It wasn't that hard a prescription to fill, I could see the product 2 feet from the counter. I will never go here again and I recommend you stay clear. I don't know if it's all Walgreen's or just this horrible place.

Extremely rude to customers! Not everyone is a homeless person or thief. But even then, I expect your employees to treat everyone with respect. We will not be going back to that walgreens. I expect better walgreens...

In general this store is great and the pharmacy has been helpful. Over the years and most recently, i consistently get poor customer service from the pharmacists, and the manager of the pharmacy. I understand they are busy, but I get incorrect pick up dates consistently from the pharmacy staff, like they are not reading the doctors instructions on the prescription, and then a response that feels like a brick wall. Last night i was told i could pick up a prescription last night or this morning. i called to check this morning and was told i couldn't pick it up until the 5th of July. No apology or recognition from the pharmacist, so i asked to speak to a manager. the manager, Divad i believe was his name, listened and said he would pass that information along to his manager. I teach customer service skills nationwide to various organizations and i can tell you these pharmacists have a long way to go, with the exception of Jess, who used to work there. Now I will wait for the medication, (this is a health issue and i am about to travel) and I expect there will be no response from anyone after my conversation this morning. again, this has happened repeatedly over the last several years. Get it together. We are customers that can go somewhere else if that matters to you at all.

This place is always lacking in products and service. If you have a prescription, plan to stand in line for 30 minutes. They just remodeled to have 3 registers at Pharmacy, but only one person at register and invariably, either the person doesn't know what they are doing or have no sense of urgency. Take your script elsewhere. The place is always dirty.

My fiance and I went to this store to pick up his prescription. When we arrived in the store, my fiance grabbed a grocery item and an over-the-counter medication to purchase at the pharmacy counter where he planned to pick up his prescription. When we arrived at the pharmacy, a pharmacy tech named Leah was standing behind the counter. There were no other customers in the pharmacy at this time. My fiance patiently waited for Leah to acknowledge him before he approached the counter. Leah stated in an annoyed tone, "What do you need?" I was immediately taken aback by her tone, but I didn't say anything at that time. My fiance put his grocery item and over-the-counter prescription on the counter and proceeded to tell Leah his name so that he could purchase his prescription. At that time, Leah moved over to a different register and a different tech, an Asian woman, stepped up to the counter to assist another customer with their order. This other customer, a white male, was carrying a pack of toilet paper when he approached the pharmacy counter. The Asian technician helped the other customer with his purchase without any issues and was very pleasant. Meanwhile, Leah rang up my fiance's prescription. These transactions were taking place side-by-side. For some reason, Leah failed to ring up my fiance's grocery item and his over-the-counter medication even though the items were on the counter. When my fiance stepped away from the pharmacy counter, he wasn't sure whether he had paid for the items or not. We were still in the pharmacy area when he checked the receipt and it showed that Leah had not rung up the other items. He went back to the counter, Leah confirmed she had not rung up the other items and told my fiance in a hostile tone, "We're closed." Leah outright refused to help my fiance check out. This occurred right as the white male customer walked away from the pharmacy counter after having purchased his prescription and toilet roll without any issues. I protested and demanded to know why that customer was able to check out at the pharmacy, but we, an African-American couple, were now being told that we had to check out in the front of the store. Leah did not respond and we completed our transaction at the front register. I am deeply disappointed by this interaction with Leah. In this political climate, it is imperative that customers of all colors and races feel welcome at the retail locations where they shop. Leah's conduct was unacceptable. I strongly believe that this encounter was racially motivated due to the disparate treatment we received in comparison to the service provided to the white customer being helped at the same time as us. Walgreens must take action to address this unacceptable and racist conduct.

They actually filled the wrong prescription and gave it to me stating it was what I requested. Seriously.

Worst walgreens I've been to by far. Got here 45 min ago to fill my son's medication and was told 20 min. Now 45 minutes later I'm still waiting . They don't seem to be filling in order there's 5 other people waiting . Four of which have been here since a few minutes after I have . Then to top it all off someone is back there coughing and it doesn't sound like they are covering their mouth. I will NOT BE BACK.

Terrible customer service from the pharmacy services. An Rx was sent on Friday. Walgreens notified me they were "out of stock" of that RX. No projected restock date, no offer to reach out to other stores or suggestion to find another pharmacy to get it filled. Then, RADIO SILENCE. It's Wednesday now- I did an online chat with Walgreen's pharmacy tech and she told me another Saint Paul location has it in stock And I could call them to ask them if they would fill the prescription. Of course I asked her to do that for me and she said I can't do that because the prescription is on hold because it's delayed. I told her that's really terrible customer service to further burden me when they are who have entirely dropped the ball and screwed up. I'll be switching my prescription services somewhere other than Walgreens from here forward. So long, Walgreens. Hello, independent local pharmacy!!

My low rating for Walgreens overall is their continued DILUTION of the effective chemicals in our prescriptions by opting for cheaper and cheaper manufacturers!!! Prescriptions i take for asthma etc for years, are now SO ineffective i just suddenly QUIT and transferred everything to the good pharmacy at U of Mn campus (3). I like Fulton Street Main building lobby pharmacy also open saturdays 9-1 pm. M-F open till 7 pm. Staff here in the pharmacy have always been professional gracious fast. But the corporation makes the big decisions. Good bye Walgreens after NINETEEN years for the entire family!!!
