On 9/17/2024 - I placed a "stop payment" on a check, check # 4264 for the amount of $200.00 through Wells Fargo call center. This paper check was made payable to Excel Energy. I was even given a conformation # of A404839064 to reference this stop payment. Below you will see that Wells Fargo went ahead and processed the payment on 2/21/2024. Received for Processing Opens a dialog Transaction Details for Row 1 02/21/24 XCEL ENERGY XCELENERGY 240221 04264 $200.00 On 2/21/24 I called Wells Fargo AGAIN- upset that the check was still going to be processed even AFTER A STOP PAYMENT WAS COMPLETED! This is not ok; this is not good customer service at all. That is $200.00 I much needed to buy groceries! And now I CAN'T! This is horrible! Not to mention fees on my checking account that may accrue due to this! I have been banking with Wells Fargo or 25 plus years, might just be time to close all my accounts and leave! If this is the kind of ignorance that occurs, because a simple stop payment can't be done correctly!

I wish I could give zero stars to write this review.Don't even waste your time here.I'm by the door 1 minute before closing.The lady stood by the door not even looking at me even though I talk to her tell her tell her that I just want to use the ATM inside so I can get larger bills she not even responded. what an attitude is that? She thinks she is the CEO (Charles w Saharf) of wellsfargo or president of the United States ?? This wasn't the first time got treated by this location. Never come to this location again! I'm done!

Always terribly slow for drive thru services. They literally only have 1 person who works at a snails pace. Plan on waiting anywhere from 15-40 mins in line regardless of time you go. Since this is a common occurrence, I’m going to be trying to transfer my mortgage elsewhere as the customer service is terrible

I seldom have a need to go into any local Wells Fargo branches, but thanks to a recent hail storm damage resulting in a check from my insurance company, I've learned this bank has gone DOWN HILL in big and bad way. I called many branches in Woodbury and St. Paul and none of them ever pick up the phone. There is no reception element, so while waiting a total of a 1/2 hour in line (behind only 4 people total) I witness everyone coming through the door questioning what they should or where they should go and most wander aimlessly, and resorting to get in the teller line (like I did).But the biggest insult to injury was "Liz", the Wells Fargo banker at this location with whom my appointment was scheduled. She is the most uncaring, unhelpful person in a customer service role I've encountered in a very long time. If ZERO stars were possible, that's what I'd give.

I've been banking with Wells Fargo for the last 5 years. This location is always sooo busy. Customer service is does a great job BUT the wait is longer than average. So only three stars because everytime I wait in the drive thru line it takes over 15 minutes even if I just need to deposit checks. Ugh!

By FAR the slowest bank I’ve ever been to...they have maybe two people working here. It’s an absolute joke how slow they are. Lines for the drive thru take at least 30 minutes..inside is worse! Maybe they should work on hiring some employees. I’ll taken my business and money elsewhere. Waiting 30 minutes to make a deposit is a JOKE! Wish we could rate a negative number of stars. That’s how bad and how slow this place is! Don’t go here unless you have half the day to wait.

Slowest bank on earth!!! Two lines open for the drive thru with five + cars in each line. Maybe they should realize people don’t have all day to wait to get their money. Stop being so cheap and hire some help!

Slowest location I have ever been to. As the years go by this location has gone down hill. For some reason this location never has employees. You could be in like for like 30 min with then only having 1-2 tellers even if there are 20 people in line

This is my neighborhood bank and I've banked with WF for over 25 years. I've been trying to add a new account for my son and it has been nothing but roadblocks and delays! I tried to create an appointment online and it was unavailable as an online. I called and they said I had to come into the branch. I walked into the branch at 3pm and they said getting an appointment so close to closing time would not be possible. Every person that walked into the branch for banking services was turned away while we waited to make an appointment. Creating a new account should not be this difficult Wells Fargo.

Yikes !! Don’t go on Saturday!Waited 45 min in line for them to tell me they couldn’t help me on Saturday. Oddly I called them before I came to check but nobody answered phone. And they have a receptionist But there is NO signage indicating that - hence the 45 min wait…. Btw website says the lobby is open with no indication of its capabilities. Suggest you try another branch - they can’t be any worse

For stars because of the wait times. Usually to be expected at any bank. Customer service does a great job to ensure that you get any job you need done, done correctly. Setting up an account is simple, and you can expect it to take about an hour to an hour and a half. Make sure you have time to stop here if you need to talk to an actual banker! Plan ahead.Wells Fargo. Thank you for your great service. You are an amazing bank, and I look forward to banking with you guys for a long time!
