I recently encountered a pharmacy technician who was unprofessional. Although I didn't catch her name, she appeared to be of Hispanic descent.
I visited the pharmacy to collect my son's prescription, only to be informed that it wasn't ready and I would have to wait 30 minutes. I was perplexed as to why it wasn't ready, especially since I had visited two days prior and the pharmacist had assured me that the first half of my son's antibiotic was ready, with the second half to follow the next day. It's been two days, and upon my return, my son's medication still wasn't ready. This is unacceptable. I explained the situation to the pharmacy technician assisting me at the drive-thru. I inquired about the delay and asked what had been causing the holdup. It was already 4 pm, nearing the end of the business day. She explained the process and suggested that I sign up for notification when my prescription is ready or call the store to confirm in the future. However, this didn't provide a clear explanation for the delay or what had caused it. Instead, she attempted to shift the blame to me for not calling ahead or signing up for notifications. I clarified that the fault lay with the pharmacy for providing incorrect information. Despite this, she maintained a dismissive attitude. Rather than offering an explanation or apology, I decided to speak with a manager who, although not directly in charge of the department, was extremely helpful and understanding. After waiting 30 minutes, I returned to the drive-thru to collect my son's prescription. The technician didn't bother to check in with me or request any information beyond the last name of the person I was picking up the prescription for. She didn't provide any documentation to sign. She simply placed the items in a Walgreens plastic bag, omitting the standard white medication paper bag, and promptly walked away. I intend to contact the manager in charge of this department to discuss this incident.

I have a very strong dislike of Walgreens, how could you make it worse? I went in for a quick stop since I threw out my shaving razors and I was desperate. I wanted a receipt for my purchases, and I had no option to get a receipt for my transaction. I mean, forgive me, but…are you kidding me? If there was an option for Walgreens to save money, they would absolutely do everything, and today is the day I learned why. If I hadn’t given my phone number, I’d have a receipt, but since I did, I still got no receipt. Something feels criminal about this decision to only provide a receipt online. I’m going to file a complaint with the attorney general and I hope that Walgreens goes under. I’m never stepping foot in your stores again. I always felt creepy in your stores since I was a teenager, and now I’m understanding why.

I mistakenly approached the pick up order window and was rudely greeted by an employee behind the counter. Based on Their head movements, I moved to the left and found that there were registers. The woman asked for the usual dates and surnames. They told me they did not have a prescription filled under my information. I told Her I had contacted my doctor Before entering the Walgreens and they reported to me they had called the pharmacy and confirmed my prescription. After a number of admittedly terse speculation About the discrepancy, The employee demanded I say out loud the prescription name. I did, under duress for my privacy And to make this disaster end. The employee then said she had my prescription and had been contacted by my Physician and that my prescription would be over $300. Shocked, I asked The staff member If she could run the prescription through GoodRx, She told me I would have to present her a code. I spent the next 20 minutes on the sidewalk, trying to get enough service to be able to sign into my GoodRx or download the app from the cloud.
Thank the Lord. I walked back inside with my GoodRx number, and another employee greeted me at the registers. She had overheard the interaction between myself and the other employee and was taking pity on me. The GoodRx Was $13 versus her $300 plus She quoted me. And just to get me off her back? Did She assume I wouldn’t want the prescription because it was so outrageously expensive? Do your own research do not take the first bid from any corporate pharmacy. Please, please, please go to a local mom and pop pharmacy in your neighborhood. Hopefully, they will treat you with dignity and respect.

They take forever to fill prescriptions.
Staff is unfriendly over the phone.
I got hung up on twice before I contacted a store manager to transfer me directly to the pharmacy, just to be told the wait time was 2 hours from the time I called.
My prescription was sent in at 2:30pm, and won’t be filled until 5:45pm. I called at 3:42pm to get a hold of someone.
If I hadn’t called, I doubt my prescription would have been filled, and even as I write this review, I’m doubting it’ll even be done by 6pm.
They clearly need more staff, and they clearly need some updates on equipment if their phones don’t even work.
Half of the time when I go through the drive through to get my meds, it takes over 10 minutes for someone to even greet me because they’re so short on pharmacists it seems.
I recommend taking prescriptions elsewhere. After today, I for sure will be.
I’m sure the people working there now will think to themselves “good, we don’t want customers who complain anyway.”
I believe that if any customer went through what I’ve had to go through time and time again just to get their medications when they’re sick, or for their mental health, they’d have some complaints as well.
Walgreens pharmacies everywhere have gone extremely downhill. Even the pharmacy in Woodbury that is 24/7 gets meds filled faster than this place and they have 5 times the volume of customers. It’s just ridiculous at this point.

Strange. I went to 1788 Hudson Walgreens to get my COVID shot. I signed up online, went to the correct place at the correct time, answered the questions and was told they didn’t have the vaccine and they wondered how I’d made the appointment. Good grief!

The Latina female pharmacist is a B, I called this pharmacy to see if they had a important prescription in stock. This pharmacist assured me that there was only one left in stock. I then asked if she could hold it for me,but before I could finish my sentence She immediately got an attitude, cut me off and lied to me saying “No we can not hold any items for anyone. It’s first come first serve!” After she was done, cutting me off, I proceeded to mentioned to her that I had that prescription filled at another Walgreens and, I just simply wanted it to be transferred over to this Walgreens, so that it could be saved for me. She then back tracked Her original statement and says “Oh yeah, we can hold that item for you.”

Employees are so clueless. Coupon says dove OR dove men +care, tells me I need to buy one dove and one dove +men care to receive the $7 off one coupon. I had to turn around and do the deal online. It's like the employees receive no training, don't know their own deals or simply can't read English.

I actually have lived down the road from this site and never had a problem... The stage knows me and I know them... A little home training from customers would make it easier.... Thank you
