I come in person to do things that can't be done using mobile banking but when I'm there, they'll waste my time repeating it needs to be done on mobile. Only speaking to someone above the teller position will get any work done, so if this happens to you, better hope the manager is in that day. I don't know what's the point of going to a bank if they won't do their job without a boss being present.

I opened my account many years ago way before it was us bank because it was convenient and had good service. Most of my banking is done remotely. My last 3 trips to the Highland branch have been very bad. The last 2 I was the only car in the drive through both times and staff visibly chatting inside while I was forced to wait as they were discussing something very amusing. At this point I am considering closing my account. Customer service appears to be declining and now I feel targeted because I decided to speak up about service. I 100% get surveys when I call in to us bank but never for in person visits. Why is this?

Stopped in to cash a check written off an account from this banking chain had to wait over 10 min just to get to a teller to find out they were going to charge me 7 dollars to cash a check that is written on there bank just because I don't have an account with them I mean I could understand a few dollars but 7 come on that is just massive theft on people who don't want to bank at your bank and a way to force them to get accounts with your bankPlease stop doing this 7 dollars is ridiculous for a fee it don't cost you anything to cash the check so stop taking people hard earned money

I had a really complicated problem with my account, but I had the great fortune of Tony attending me, he got me an appointment with the banker but also helped clear up some problems and withdraw enough money to hold me over. He was kind, helpful, and checked with me and others in the bank to make sure everything worked out in my favor. I left with not only an appointment but peace (piece?) of mind knowing my problem was already well on its way to being solved. So i appreciate the help, Tony! This was a really good experience at the bank thanks to you.

I visited this branch on June 23rd 2020 around 10:10 AM and waited in one out of three of the lines for over 20 minutes before it got to my turn. After all that wait for just a simple check deposit and getting a couple of rolls of quarters, I got everything back and my identification card that was BENT IN HALF (I was able to straighten it out; it still has a deep line on it). I hit the call button and told them what happened and they said sorry. Now I need to go through the whole hassle of going to a DMV (I do not have a vehicle and hours are limited now due to COVID-19) and pay for a new ID due to someone else's mishandling which is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. This was a HORRIBLE experience and I DO NOT recommend anyone going to this US Bank branch.

Tellers are great. Love the ability to turn my change into bills with the machine in the lobby. If you want to see a banker however, good luck. Recently I had two 20 minute waits just to see someone. The first time I gave up after twenty minutes. The second time after 20 minutes the first person to come out to help the four of us waiting said they could not help me with what I needed as they were having technical issues. So more waiting for someone else. I wish they'd prioritize people waiting over whatever desk work they are doing.

Overall a non-profit that I work with has had good experiences with US Bank. However, our business opened a CD with them and we've had less favorable experience in that realm. Our CD renewed automatically, great. But it renewed at .05% rate, basically Zero, or about 1/30th of market rate for CDs. Our money is now locked up for US Bank use and we get nothing for it. Our business banker had no solutions for us. The early withdrawal penalty is onerous enough to ensure that US Bank keeps those funds until our CD is mature. Watch out.
