I am in love with Tula, especially anything SomaYoga. If you like a slow-paced, very deliberate and aware practice, give it a try.

Tula is a fantastic studio! My first class I took was actually at Linwood Park where they offer classes in the warmer months. (So excited for them to start up again!) The teachers are all so kind and offer something for people of all levels. I try to bring my family and friends as often as possible! Thanks, Tula!

I signed up for a 7 week, online course (Mondays at 6:30), called "The Men's Series". As you might have figured out; it was for guys only. I signed up because I wanted to get more into yoga, but had been intimidated by co-ed yoga in the past and the "men's only" aspect was appealing. Our instructor was Dan and he was exceptional. Not only because of his knowledge and calm demeanor, but because he encouraged and accepted wherever we were in our yoga journey. We had some beginners and some that were more advanced; but I think it worked for all of us. I know it worked for me. I especially enjoyed our check-in at the beginning of our session. We would each talk about how we were doing and Dan would usually discuss a topic around the positive thinking and meditation aspects of yoga. Yoga apparently, is not only about the movements; it's about the mind as well. The class exceeded my expectations.

I am so glad that I decided to try Yoga. Especially with this new Zoom Class in home format. And, with Tula Soma as my starting point. I started with zero background and in just a few short weeks I am seeing a difference in movement and pain management. Dan has a quiet calm assurance and knowledge that helps lead the class and discussion. I was also happy to share a space with only men while we talked about issues that we all face safely. There could be a bit of improvement with the Zoom class Technology limiting the uses of Audio and Visual and I'm sure that will come. I look forward to continuing my learning and practice with Tula.

Checked out the evening candlelight yoga, and loved it! The instructor was very sweet and thoroughly explained postures and their benefits. There was only about 5 other people in the class, which added to the relaxing vibe. Will definitely check it out again!

Gorgeous space with alllllll the props. I was here most recently for a soma yoga training, and it's so full of positive energy and warmth. The class variety ensures there's something for all skill sets and levels, and all the instructors with whom I've interacted have been inviting and knowledgeable.

By far One of the best yoga establishments in town. Super awesome environment to learn and practice. They have some amazing art hanging on the walls as well. If you’re not located near this place it’s definitely worth the trip over for a class.

I could not recommend a late-night, Restorative Yoga session with Ashley more! A mixture of slow flow vinyasa and some deep stretching, Ashley did a great job with demonstrating and making sure that the environment welcomed relaxation: candlelight, gentle music, and guided breathing counts to quell even the most anxious minds. At first, I was a bit skeptical because of all the props required - 2 bolsters, a yoga block, a thick yoga blanket, and a sandbag, but after the 60-minute class, I felt SO relaxed and much less stressed out. I highly recommend taking advantage of the Sunday night restorative classes, as attendance is so few (5 people in total) and it was a great way to mentally prep for the upcoming work week. Also, the classes are also donation-based, so that is definitely a plus for those who can't afford the pricier options in the area. Yoga for all!

I feel blessed to have discovered Tula. I am always warmly welcomed, all the instructors are super, and they offer great workshops and classes. I love that the classes are “drop in†so I can go without registering.

I used to live right down the street from Tula, and I'm super sad that I no longer do, because this studio is one of the best yoga studios I've had the pleasure of practicing at! Instructors: all I've taken classes with are amazing, nonjudgmental, super helpful, and genuinely care about everyone coming to the mat for their class. Classes: I frequented the weeknight or Sunday night candlelight classes, which were a great way to unwind from a long day or end a weekend with. My favorite class, though, was Saturday morning Soma with Dan, who owns Tula with his wife. The class is pretty slow paced, but it's perfect for literally anyone, no matter ability, age, or experience. I always left feeling refreshed and like I had a massage. Seriously, the spinal strips they use are *magical.* I would love to do an aerial workshop and class with them soon--they are reasonably priced and look so fun. Other: LOVE that Tula operates on a donation-based pricing model (minimum $5 if you pay cash/suggested $10-$20). Makes it a lot easier to drop in every now and then, since I am a lady on a budget. Now go get your yoga bums to Tula, you'll thank me!
