TruStone in Golden Valley has been excellent every time I have dealt with them. Today Kayla was the person I was blessed to have help me. She did three different transactions and answered at least five different questions. She also helped me update my contact info. If I was hiring I would definitely hire Kayla.

I've been using Trustone since it was the Teachers' Credit Union. They have always been professional, friendly, understanding, and responsive. I have no complaints at all and tell everyone to switch. Love y'all!

Do not bank with this bank. Every since the merge from Firefly to Trustone. It has been a hassle. They may be good in other areas but there phone agents are rude and do not want to fix things when they are wrong. Promise to call you back but don't. We're told everything will remain the same, and somehow I ended up owing money, and terms and conditions changed with out properly informing us. I do not like the way this bank do business.

Truestone Golden Valley - poor customer service, not friendly for working people since they close at 5, they give you an 800 number which is not answered and disconnects saying unavailable at this time. I have fraud on my card and would like to speak to a human

Clean office space, easy and plentiful parking, helpful and friendly staff, and quick transactions. This CC offers great CD and other rates. Worth adding to your portfolio.

I took a fixed loan for a home repair with TruStone, and my experience has been remarkable enough for me to take the time to write this review. All my customer service experiences with TruStone have been marked by what I'll call casual injury. It seems like they've gone out of their way to put unnecessary barriers between customers and taking reasonable day-to-day actions. I wanted to try to pay down my loan aggressively, so I paid what I could afford above what was required with the expectation that either the extra would go to the principal automatically or I'd at least be able to select that was my intention (as is true of every other financial institution I've worked with). TruStone doesn't let you do that. If you want a payment to apply directly to the principal, you have either call or show up at a physical location. Even then, they will only directly process a payment against the principal of a loan if the funds come from an internal account. Otherwise, you'll have to arrange for the transfer of funds into a TruStone account and then call back again or show up again to have the funds applied to your principal. I find this surprising and disappointing. When I've asked if this is in fact how things work, the customer service reps act as if they are being insulted. And they're right. Placing needless obstacles between customers and their ability to act in their own financial interest is insulting. Beyond this, TruStone's online tools are subpar in general. You'll find that you must make phone calls or make in-person visits more than is typical for a modern credit union. I read the unavailability of online tools, in other words barriers to access, as another sign of TruStone's commitment to extracting as much money as possible from their customers. I get that it's a business and they exist to make money, but they could choose to do so in a way that also actively benefits their customers. Had I been aware of how TruStone operates, I would have worked with a different lender. I hope that someone else can benefit from my experience.

This place has truly gone down hill after the merger. After trying to get a lien release letter (which I've done before relatively easily at other banks, not so much here) I will not be doing business with them anymore. It is sad because Firefly was a very good place, with good service, and always treated me and my family well. I don't think Trustone gives a you know what, about you and your family.

I have had great customer service here at this branch! Corbin has gone above and beyond to help me with my banking needs. I would highly recommend the Highland Trustone Branch to anyone!

It's almost as if TruStone goes out of their way to make things harder for their members with any matter. I'm flummoxed.
