We made a last-minute decision to take our 2011 van on a several-day visit out-of-town, but it needed quite bit of deferred maintenence work completed on very short notice. TGK Maplewood Manager Evan was great to work with as he committed to getting it done on time (even earlier!) for us. Even with a big storm that knocked out their power for some hours, they got it all done, and done well. We feel so much better now taking our preferred vehicle on this trip. I have complete trust in TGK Auto. They keep me informed and suggest work that may be needed in the future. They send me a comprehensive report, including pictures and tell me any safety issues present in my vehicle. They are prompt and efficient. I have been using the South Maplewood location for many years.

Outstanding!! I don’t leave reviews very often but I am very impressed with TGK. They earned my trust a year ago when I was convinced my wife’s car blew a timing belt. TGK said no, and they were right. They could have charged me a lot more for something the car didn’t need but they have integrity. Last week I brought my truck in for service because it was running erratically. It was a timing issue - chains, guides, etc. They did it, and the truck runs better now than it has in the last 10 years.
Maybe other shops can do the same work for a little less money…maybe not. But I trust TGK and that is worth a lot.

The staff was excellent very friendly very knowledgeable. Explain everything and what they were going to do and what the findings were I will continue to go there and also refer friends these guys are great

I always get great service and results at TGK. In addition to the main work items, they also do a very thorough full vehicle inspection. I definitely recommend them.

My truck has been there for a week and I have to constantly call them. Do not sit around and wait for any answers .They still have not repaired one item, and I dropped it off a week ago and it was a scheduled appointment.

Got my car in early and kept me updated. Very polite and helpful staff. Can't remark on prices as I haven't needed any work done on this car that wasn't covered by warranty before this and did not shop around. Really appreciated the thorough inspection they start with (was approx $85). It came with pictures, videos and explanations of everything that needed attention organized in a green, yellow or red category. Will definitely continue to use them in the future

Came in not being able to start my car the manger Adam took great care of me answered any questions & concerns I had about my vehicle & called me right away anytime he needed my approval on something now I’m leaving in a running vehicle.

Great deal on an oil change, very through inspection on every important system. I know the oil deal is probably a loss leader to get you in the door yet I found them highly capable and close by. Great review sheet sent by text to make any further choices. Nice to find a operation like there's.

I had the most pleasant experience with TGK auto services. Sales rep was very kind and knowledgeable with information mechanic Anthony who did the inspection and oil change on my vehicle was very thorough. I received a paper with what was going on with my car and estimate of prices for parts And services for if I decided to have those things done there was no pressure from them for me to have those services done. They left that up to me and they were very pleasant people to deal with. I would go back in a heartbeat and would recommend them to anyone who needs auto services. Overall the team there was swift, quick thorough, and awesome made my day. Thanks everyone who was there and made my day as pleasant as it was.
