Everything's locked up now and it takes minutes for employees to wander over to unlock anything. Save your time and money - shop elsewhere.

Everything is slowly being locked up so you cant shop or even browse without asking an employee to hold your hand. Wanted some clothes but couldnt tell if they had my size.Waited for someone to come help me only to search while they stand over my shoulder and find out they dont have my size. What a waste of time and energy. One of the least comfortable shopping experiences of my life

Sorry to say, my neighborhood Target sucks now....I don't feel safe between the parking lot and store, which explains why half the store is locked up behind glass. Kinda makes me want to shop online

Convenient location, but they have lots of challenges keeping what you need on the shelf. At least half of my trips, there’s something I need that they are out of stock on (usually a staple item like cheese or yogurt). Then all the locked up product from men’s underwear to $2 toothpaste and large laundry detergent and select lower-priced deodorant). The kicker was the fitting rooms close at 7pm but the store stays open until 10pm! Make that make sense for a customer trying to spend money.Despite all that, the attitudes of all the staff are wonderful.

I found exactly what I needed and was able to check out quickly, despite it being busy when I was there. Thanks for a quick and efficient shopping trip, Target!

Nice having to wait 10 minutes for someone to open locked up laundry detergent. If you are locking stuff up to prevent use some of that cost to fully staff to have people open the cases. Insane!

Today was the last time shopping at Target. Now that everything is locked up, a quick trip is impossible. I ended up leaving my half full cart and walked out empty handed.

Highlights: Great Location, On Public Transportation Lines, Near Highway 94, Near Other Shopping Centers, Delicious Hot/Cold Food Options, Fully Stocked Bakery Section, Mostly Stocked In Every Section, Good Customer Service, Great Deals, Clean, Organized I experienced exceptional customer service at my recent visit to the Target Midway location. It was unusually busy, and it almost felt like the patrons were shoulder to shoulder in some of the isles. As I was walking through the Personals Section, I mentioned to my friend that accompanied me that I was looking for Witch Hazel. A Target Staff Member overheard me and said, "I can get that for you" and she proceeded through the busy crowd to retrieve the item and brought it back to me. She mentioned that "witch hazel hides on the shelf, very easy to overlook." I appreciated her willingness to go above and beyond and get the item for me while I waited a few isles away. Everything was clean, organized and well stocked during my visit. I found some great deals on Storage Solutions the Children's Board Books were also on sale, buy 2 get 1 free and another deal offering 25% off. I found everything I was looking for in during this shopping trip, and some fun items for the Holidays. Like most Target locations, Midway also has a Starbucks inside as well as an excellent Hot Food & Cold Food section. The bakery is always stocked with fresh breads, cupcakes, cakes and everything in between. There is plenty of Parking, including Handicap parking and Target is Handicap accessible as well as the bathrooms. The Midway location is on the Public Transportation line with access to both the Metro Train Line and the Metro Bus Line. It is near Highway 94 with an exit on Hamline, which is the cross street of Target. You also have the option to order ahead for curbside pickup, pick up in the store at the Customer Service desk, or for delivery when you order $35 or more. You can join Target's Delivery Service for $99 per year, which offer unlimited delivery, or you can pay $9.99 per delivery. You're able to earn points for each purchase through your Target App and you can use your earnings towards purchases made in store or online with Target. I love Target so much. This place has mostly everything you need, and I love the $5 and under section near the entrance. As I'm sure most of you know, Target is a dangerous place to be sometimes because you come in for 2 things and leave with 20 but either way- I wouldn't change this store at all. They are doing a great job at the Target Midway.

Everything is now locked behind doors.I waived the call button 10 times to have them unlocked. I waited 15 min without anyone showing up I tried to find an employee on my own and when I found one they told me they were not able to unlock the doors and started to walk away. I had to ask if they would call someone over. They asked over the radio and after another 8 or so minutes someone finally casually walked over.If you’re going to lock everything up you need to ensure someone is able to unlock it, and be available with reasonable response times. Waiting 25 minutes to grab an essential item is ridiculous and I will be sending this off to corporate as a complaint. Absolutely unacceptable.

Just got kicked out of self checkout with 12 items. Really Target, while the carts are filled with garbage and in disarray, there were only 2 cashiers open, and 25 people in the customer's way, stocking shelves? Priorities. ?

Abraham at self checkout with the blonde hair and an Afro was super rude because all the tooth brushes were marked $5.29 and it rang up as 9.50 so when I asked him he was super fucking rude and if stores has it accidentally marked it should be charged for the price marked

Not only are self checkouts not open early, but dressing rooms are almost never open. Additionally, they’ve now put all self care products and OTC meds (toothpaste, deodorant, Benadryl, Tylenol, etc) behind locked cabinets so you have to wait for someone to come unlock it for you and you can’t look at ingredients or anything before buying.Additionally, on a moral level, they’ve also locked up safe sex products, which deters young people even further from making safe choices. This is no longer a convenient and quick place to shop.

I don't understand the hate for this Target location! I was in the area and it was unseasonably chilly so we sought out the closest Target to find a jacket for our daughter before a zoo outing. I will say, Target did not come through with a good jacket selection for three year olds, but it was June, and not really the season for it. We managed to find a sweatshirt she liked and were on our way. All in all I'd describe this Target location as pretty standard. It was clean, had what we needed, and was, well a Target. This location should meet your expectations if you're looking for a Target or Walmart and are in this area.

This is the only full-sized target in Saint Paul, which makes it the business. Yet there are only ever 2-5 lanes open and a consistent 15+ people in the self-checkout at either end of the store. If you’re going to encourage people to do pick-up orders or shop online by limiting the number of cashiers then at least get employees that will actually TRY to shop the items ordered for pick up. I finally gave up on shopping this location in person so I ordered pick up. I was notified that the items I ordered were out of stock. I had to go to this location anyway to get my other other pick up order so I decided to go in and look for the “out of stock” items. Totally found the items I ordered in stock. Such a waste of time.
