This Speedway is conveniently located on the bus line, near Hamline University. Sunday afternoon, I used the Wells Fargo ATM, taking out a $50 bill. When I went to check out with snacks that amounted to $4 + tax, the cashier informed me that she does not have a lot of change. It was presented as if she were requesting that I use a smaller denomination. I let her know that's the only cash I had, and just received it from the ATM and she was hesitant to make the sale, mentioning again that she does not have a lot of change in her drawer. I understand that this location has been robbed quite a few times- and they are most likely protecting themselves- still, not having enough change for a transaction using $50 bill and discouraging/shaming customers from POS was unimaginable until this point. The person I was with also went in to the store to purchase something, and the cashier also informed him that she did not have a lot of change and he was using a $20 bill. I hadn't even mentioned my experience when he shared the disappointing details of his transaction. The status of your drawer is not the consumers information. Continue with transactions until you are truly unable to provide change for the customers. I have also seen business post hand written signs near the cash register stating "$1's, $5's and $10's are appreciated" The store was decently clean and the slushee machines were up and running, which was important for my kids. Everything appeared to be full stocked and presentable.

Lately, their car wash is always broken when I go to get the 10 gallon and $2 car wash deal. That was the only reason I went to Speedway for gas. Their failure to fix the car wash means they have lost my business.

I don't know if the lady working there is a owner or manager but I was very disappointed by her reaction to me requesting another car wash due to the car wash not completely cleaning my white vehicle. Mentioning if I wanted a free car wash I could have just asked for a free car wash. I paid for ultimate and could have paid for another ultimate but it's not my fault their car wash didn't completely clean my vehicle! Now I'll be going out of my way NOT ...to give them anymore of my business!

RASICT AND RUDE!!! The African lady was VERY rude and racist. She started yelling at me, saying I'm the problem in America. There pop was expired and warm, there refrigerators are obviously broken and not cold. it is a very small store with barely any products. I would NEVER go to this gas station EVER!
