240 Snelling Ave S, St Paul“This a great store with beautiful gifts! Only one negative is that I gave an employee my name and number to call me of they could order XXXL compression stockings and she said she'd check and call me. In the meantime, I bought three pairs of XXL thinking they might fit. I tried on a pair at home and they were too small. The employee never called and it's now too late to return-around $90 lost. I still have two pairs unopened and in the bag.”
“If you've ever been to a family run pharmacy where people are familiar, caring and kind you'll appreciate Lloyd's pharmacy. They will, want to get to know each and every customer as an unique person making sure you are always given the time, guidance, and best care.”

240 Snelling Ave S, St Paul“Out of four surrounding states, this is the only other liqueur store that carries Wray & Nephew white overproof rum, other than one in Rodgers MN. They had plenty in stock and really came through when i was in a pinch. Would recommend coming to this place first before other large name stores. I don't understand why they are not higher up on my local Google search!”

“I will never go to another pharmacy. Ever. They have always treated me with respect regardless of the medication have a needed and have always worked very hard to get me what I need when I need it as quickly as I can you do that and they have even stayed a few minutes late. When I said I couldn't find a place in the parking ramp. They told me where I could go to pick up my extra meds. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate everybody in that pharmacy.”

1744 Suburban Ave, St Paul“This pharmacy staff is amazing. They know their regulars by name, they go above and beyond for their customers. Don't get me wrong, they get busy, sometimes I have to wait, sometimes they have to order meds in. They are human and do their dangdest. But a little human compassion and understanding works. SOME things are out of their control. I know I can't do their job, so I let them do it with the proficiency they have! I adore all of them, and I've been going here for 30 years.”
“I'm normally a long term patient/cust of Cub in Eagan. There was a shortage of a medication I take, there was misinformation very unintentional last friday when I was getting a 2nd partial refill and was told I could go to WSP later in the day to get the remainder of my meds which were in stock.Unfortunately the pharmacy can't nor will insurance allow 2nd refills on the same day but it took hours and bother Peter and Justin here and my pharm ins company to get what the issue was and why I'd have to wait until running a day late and missing a dose to refill again.Just wanted to say I was appreciative of the patience that both Justin and Peter had with me and hopefully they can get recognized for it, I know WSP like Eagan are busy pharmacies so they care and consideration I get with both I appreciate, I just may as much as I love Eagan after last weekends experience use this pharmacy exclusively given the quality of service and care to me by staff.”
“I LOVE this pharmacy. The people who work here are so kind, they are so patient, and they go out of their way to be helpful. I can always get a hold of someone with questions or to slip in last minute med orders- they answer immediately (I have NEVER had such quick access to any pharmacy that I've called ever- I still hear the hold music of other pharmacies in my nightmares). I am so grateful that the company I work for utilizes them. I never thought I'd be inspired on a Friday evening to write a review for a pharmacy, but that is how much I appreciate these people.”

1177 Clarence St, St Paul“Cub - St. Paul Phalen does an outstanding job of helping and working with their customers and I would like to commend them on that. Recently, I ordered on-line groceries for my elderly 89 year old mother to be delivered. Cub's Customer Service manager, Ann, gave me a personal call to let me know that they would take special care to make sure that she got her groceries delivery so that I didn't have to go out in 20 degree snowy weather to pick them up. This store continues to service the community with excellent customer service, kindness and helpfulness. Every time I am in this Cub store, I see this 'customer first' attitude in every employee that I have encountered. I would like to recognize them as employees that go beyond what is expected. Tina O.”

“I moved out of the state a year ago but having recently had some negative vet experiences, the wonderful staff at Como Park popped into my head. This was my go to emergency vet for years. They saw my roommates and I through dog, cat, and lizard emergencies. The most notable experience was the night my dog, Rose, died in November 2018. She was 4 years old and collapsed in our kitchen with no warning. We rushed her to Como but I know now that it was too late. Even though there was a part of me that knew there was nothing that could be done, they took her from my arms and did everything they could, continuing CPR until the vet spoke to me and got my verbal permission to stop lifesaving measures. The staff was incredibly respectful and empathetic, allowing me time and space to mourn and not rushing me out the door. They handled her body and cremation with the utmost respect. I would highly recommend them to anyone, especially during times of stress.”
“This practice believes in putting the patient's needs first, before the pocketbook. Honesty and integrity is worth sticking around for... this is one trait that is extremely inconsistent to keep in business today and if you can find that, I say, stick with it, and the philosophy of all that comes with it!Phalen Pharmacy has always been a trusted source I go to for my medications, vaccines, or a place I recommend others particularly of Asian decent to go to. It's nice to be known by face and name! Their staff has always been respectful, and go out of their way to help me understand my prescriptions. They go the extra mile, and will even speak with doctors on your behalf if they think there is a better alternative for your meds based on your insurance and health history. It's honestly one of the most thorough pharmacies I've experienced!!Overall, if you want a pharmacy that is personable, cares about your phases of care, and bridging the cultural gap in healthcare, I recommend this place. Every place has things they are working on, but I can guarantee a mom n' pop independent pharmacy will have taken more time to truly understand you and your health history, AND advocate for you, than your big business chains (who are so short staff, they just want you in and out... like a fast food chain). So I hope those other's experiences does not overshadow the genuine work I've seen this pharmacy do.P. S. Not to mention it's right next to the Hmong Market, so it's a double win. Great meds, great food, great service!...P. S. S. It's unfortunate the different experiences of some reviewers, but during a time when healthcare workers have been expended and overworked beyond their limit, I hope you'll give them some grace... Also, fyi, med and med supply shortages have been a recent nationwide issue, so take that as you will... (Ok, off my soap box)”
“This neighborhood pharmacy is the Best. They have been so helpful to us and service is always excellent. Walgreens was a nightmare for so long and CVS too. West Seventh Pharmacy was/is a find!”

1811 Old Hwy 8 NW B, St Paul“Dana is awesome! Rarely do I call the pharmacy today I did. I was informed the generic brand I get was out of stock so Dana took it upon herself to see if they had any coming in soon. In doing so she saw that my insurance covers the name brand (I didn’t even know that) and she made it possible for me to get my meds. It’s hard to get friendly help these days because everyone is so busy and without enough employees. But that didn’t stop Dana. Thank you DANA @ the west st.paul pharmacy !!”
“Nice, cozy pharmacy that always tries to accommodate me, even with odder requests like asking for a different generic brand from the one they'd given me recently.
Some of the complaints about the pharmacists who work here make no sense to me, like a complaint from three weeks ago about Mr. Chak, literally the nicest, most friendly guy there is. The complaints about the female pharmacist, Robin, are also overblown -- she's not some bubbly outgoing person, and she is very direct, but she's hardly rude. Sometimes she'll see me and even say hi. These are not rude, mean people who work here.
Given this is a pharmacy, I suspect some of these negative interactions people complain about were because they refuse to accept that there's laws and limits on how frequently you can get your addictive, controlled substances refilled. Personally, when I get that call that it's too early for mine, I just say "okay, thank you" and wait it out because I know they can't do anything about it. Maybe if everyone did that, they would never get into a situation where they think the pharmacists are being rude.”

“My experience getting a Covid shot was, as always, quick and painless. All of the staff are very friendly. The owner, John, helped me set up the app on my phone to list all my vaccines. I am very grateful for that, as I wouldn’t have been able to do that myself.”
