We have gone to this Vet. Hospital for many years including the early years from 1974 to 1990. We moved up to Ham Lake and used a vet place there. When we returned to this area we came back to MN Vet. Hospital, (about 2018). We have been happy with the staff, taking our cat here. They are always courteous and friendly. If there are questions, they will return a call with the information we need. We just euthanized our cat and the staff was so very kind and caring. We are very happy with this vet. hospital and plan to return in the future with another pet. Kathy H.

Minnesota Veterinary Hospital felt very trustworthy compared to other vets in the area! I got several quotes in the area for my cat's dental care. Minnesota Veterinary Hospital's quote was not only the most affordable (the high end of their quote was lower than the low end of Life Care's, who seemed like they were only out for money), but it was also the most well explained. The staff seemed honest and trustworthy. Throughout the whole process, I felt like I was making the best choice for my pet as well as my financial situation. They were also sure to include a follow up appointment to make sure she was healing, which I was so grateful for.

I've been taking my dogs to MN Veterinary Hospital for a number of years. They have been great with both my outgoing dog as well as more timid pup. I do not feel pressured into additional services, and they made my sick dog's euthanasia experience smooth and calm. I can only express my gratitude for their dedication to our furry family members.

A handful of years ago, we found ourselves at Minnesota Veterinary Hospital after a bad experience at another clinic. I would consider myself a high maintenance dog mom and am grateful for Dr Freed, Kelly and the entire staff for their excellent care for our 2 Vizslas, as well as their willingness to handle my high-maintenance. We've reccomended this clinic to friends and neighbors and will continue to do so.

I have been coming here for many years with all of my pets. I was recently put in a bind where I needed to leave the state for a family event & I have no family here to care for my kitty Onyx & they would not board him because his health was declining. Onyx had an internal disease, nothing that could spread to any other animal. They were so concerned about his declining health, yet they would not exempt his Rabies vaccine, which they could have since he was allergic to the vaccine & they were just going to give it to him anyway. I had the front desk staff tell me one thing & the Vet, who by the way was extremely rude & just wanted to order a bunch of tests and rack up a big bill & still make him have the rabies vaccine. I had their newest vet tell me that he had cancer by just feeling his stomach & not run any tests. We all know you cannot diagnose cancer without a bx.
I would really think twice before coming here. They do not care about you or your pet, just concerned about how much money they can get out of you.
If you cannot board your sick noncontagious pet with your vet, then you are pretty much screwed in case you are like me with all family out of state & nobody who can watch them for you. The vets here are rude & inexperienced, go somewhere else.

I have called several times 2 days in a row and no one ever answers the phone and there is no voice mail option. I would think a business would at least have voice mail? Guess they don't want customers?

The nicest staff and best medical care. I always have been blessed by their care for the furry ones. Also the receptionists are very knowledgeable and helpful always trying to accommodate and do what is best for the customer and the patient. Thank you!

Deplorable. I’ve never encountered such rude and unlikeable staff at any establishment in my life.

I big thanks to the MN Vet Hospital Team for the loving care of our little Nissa. Her dental surgery went well and the follow up visit today was full of treats and good news.

0/10 would not recommend. Rude and unhelpful staff. A complete 180 compared to every other vet I've been to.

We drive almost an hour to take our dog to this clinic. We have a 6 year old dog who has reactivity and high anxiety with vet appointments. We continue to come here because the staff consistently show her compassion, are prompt with visit times, and are diligent with follow-up. Cannot say enough good things about the MN Vet team!

We love taking our two dogs here and have used this clinic for 5+ years. The staff is so friendly and loves our dogs. They give very thorough exams and provide you with several treatment options when there is an issue… and are patient in talking through those options with you. We usually see Dr Amanda Nuth. I have also called many times and spoken to vet techs on the phone when I needed advice about my dog eating something he shouldn’t have or when he’s gotten an upset stomach. Sometimes they can order tests (like fecal tests) and diagnose without even needing an appointment. I appreciate that very much!

I do not recommend this place to board a cat. Your cat will stay inside a 2x3 kennel for the entirety of their stay, and will not be let out for exercise at all. The cat boarding kennel cages are stacked on one side of a small room with a large washer & dryer on the other side, and no windows. The dryer was going when I picked up my cat and the room was stifling hot. Their treatment of boarded cats is inhumane and shame on them for trying to make money by storing cats in cages in a small laundry room.
