Delightful eclectic collection. Opened my eyes to the broad range of art created by native Americans.
Free when we went. A great 2 hour walk and ponder time.
Parking seemed easy on the street.

A complete waste of time and money. There is no museum. This is a money laundering scheme. To call it a gallery would be a stretch. There is one room with about 20 mediocre paintings and one children's playroom with kids' "art" on the walls. No admission fee, but they welcome donations. For what???
I paid $7 to park in Holiday garage. It is a stressful drive up a tight spiral to get into this garage. Not to mention massive road construction right at that intersection, which adds to the stress.
There is no art to look at, but there are plenty of "staff" rooms. This is so weird and contrived, don't fall for the impressive and completely undeserved name for this so-called museum.

Though it says on their site that the museum is open. It was closed. You can view some art pieces from outside.

Didn’t realize the museum was closed after online said they were open. A little disappointed. Should update the site.

I took a staycation in my own backyard and visited the exhibit and in the windows at MMAA. Seeing art that interprets, reacts, reflects the immigrant Asian journey to here to MN puts today's difficulties in a new perspective. Feeling much safer at home in a place I've always been able to consider home without even thinking about it. Window exhibit along 4th St and Robert St. Open to view 24/7. It's not my story but I am really grateful it is OUR story. This is what made and continues to make America.
