Worst waste of time and money don't go to these guy. Had him rebuild a transmission put it back would lock up in od and I took it back for warranty and picked it back up and installed it nothing was and was told no reimbursement for the new converter and fluid I had to buy twice never going back to them for what a joke

The owner of this business is a total hack. Paid him to rebuild a turbo 350 transmission and after less than 250 miles it won’t shift into anything but reverse. Told me I’d have to pay him just to have it looked at so I brought it to another shop to get a second opinion and it turns out he didn’t do anything to it at all and just sold it back to meService: Transmission

I brought my c4 to them for a rebuild. I told them the problem I was having to make sure it was addressed. They finished my transmission in January and told me I had 2 weeks to pick it up. I didn’t get it installed until may. Same problem, won’t shift until it’s completely warmed up- it’s stuck in 1st. Same problem after I put the supposedly rebuilt trans in. I called them to ask if they could take a look at it and they said no. 90 day warranty. Unless I wanted to pay again.Service: Transmission

They rebuilt my 700R4 last year, very happy with it. I brought it to them with only 1st and reverse. Got it back with a shift kit installed, worked perfectly. They were easy to deal with and quick.Service: Transmission

Bought a rebuilt 4l60E 30 days ago. No issues at all. I suspect most bad reviews here are from improper installations. If you have never installed a transmission or torque converter I advise you to do your research. I would have no problem recommending MMB to friends or family and will probably go to them again in the future for my next project.

These people will do bear minimum. There's no complete rebuild the don't take off bell housing dont even look at clutch parts don't care about any lingering problems (they dont even look). Replace a filter maybe a few seals. wont clean up anything inside put a new gasket on & charge you through the roof. If you get problems it's because they guys dont care, they dont examine nothing for problems. It's literally the worst option available. Communication is non existent. They just dont care it's a sham they know it, they won't bother with looking for any kind of wear or potential issues. You might as well be throwing hundred dollar bills out the window going here..the horrible reviews aren't some kind of prank. They are awful.Service: Transmission

Bought a 4l60e from them and it never gave me a single problem. I believe that most of the negative comments here are from people who are inexperienced and just can't blame themselves. I have experienced with installing transmissions but u still ask questions and the owner has been very patient with me and never steered me into the wrong direction. Some people on here will put in a new rebuilt trans with dirty fluid and then blame these guys. I experienced a lot of bad customer service in my life but when I talk to either the owner or his son, I literally just stick around a little longer just because of how friendly they are.If you have questions or something just don't seem right, call and ask them because at the end of the day they just want you to have a good working transmissionI even broke my trans pump awhile ago because I installed my torque converter incorrectly and they assisted me and didn't even charge me labor for it.This is my first positive review and they deserve more than 5 stars

My husband went to this place for a transmission rebuild. Came back he had tried to place the transmission back into the vehicle 6 TIMES did not fit back in place. My husband went back and explain the situation and the only thing they said “fell of warranty!” Lost of $650 and with a broken transmission! POOR IN REPAIRING; POOR IN QUALITY AND NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL!!!Service: Transmission

Bought a 700r4 transmission core from them. When I brought it in to be rebuilt at a different shop It was complete junk. I realize that can happen. But they were not willing to refund or replace the core. Unprofessional!

Was in St Paul for a car event from Kansas City when I had a problem with my 4L60E in my competition car- they answered the phone, met me at their shop, and let me change the parts in front of their shop. Saved the day! Great folks.

I’ve personally installed 3 transmissions from this place. 2 for personal cars and one customer. All 3 went bad under 500 miles. Total hack. Warranty calls are a hang up.
