“Surprised by how good our brats were. One of the best beer brats I've had. Also, their original brat is not only tasty but also low fodmap with no garlic/onion, which is hard to find for folks with food sensitivities! They were super helpful when we asked about ingredients and measurements.Beer brats are a bit spendy but definitely worth it. I'll be stopping by again soon!”
“I bought a pre cooked ham and peppered bacon last week while visiting my daughter. The ham was delicious and not too salty. The bacon was some of the best that I have eaten. I highly recommend this place. Can’t wait to visit again, I will be back!”

The owner was so nice, gave me some great tips, and introduced me to a few things I had never used before. The dinner that I served was amazing, and I’m so glad to have found this great business!”

“I grew up on the Eastside. I know live in a southern suburb yet the ONLY meat sore i will visit is Big Steer. The staff of men are all welcoming, great prices and my latest find there is their jumbo pickles. They are sooo good I will buy a few a week with my Welch's gralow soda in addition to my meat/spaghetti sauce/garlic bread purchases. Vicki Burback aka one of Toms daughters”
“My husband and I are at the new restaurant inside. He had the ribs (sp?) and I had an amazing chicken wrap. Afterwards we grabbed some goods from the grocery. Great prices and great food!”
“Great local grocery store with an excellent deli of Southeast Asian food (bahn mi, kapoon soup, purple rice and sausages, etc.)A lot of fresh produce, meat, seafood, and a lot of Asian food and products”
“They have a lot of healthy foods, and herbal medicine to choose from. Love getting loose leaf teas. They have a small area with precooked meals, too. Several vegan options and seasonal ingredients. Will be back. ? Updated from previous review on 2024-03-11”
“Never been inside of a while foods before. It was really cool and they had lots of variety. All their fruits and vegetables were fresh. I also tried the little food bar.”
“(Translated by Google) Very fresh meat also lasts a long time without being damaged. In other places after 3 days it spoils.(Original)La carne muy Fresca además dura mucho sin que se dañe . En otros lados a los 3 días se echa a perder.”
“I LOVE this little neighborhood store. Not only is it famous for its meat department but somehow they manage to stock all of the things you might need in your house. And the prices are really reasonable. Convenience store ease with big box prices. I don't know how they do it but I'm a huge fan!!”
“They have food and snacks from many countries. I've been buying things from Venezuela for about a month. Today they had hot chips. Great ??I hope they can expand the store eventually.”
“I’ve been to the “best butcher shops” in MN and WI and none of them can compete with Flicker. Their staff is amazing, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. To the point where I should bring them beers next time I shop there. Also if you’re looking for a great sandwich skip Jimmy John’s and grab one of theirs. I could write more about how much I appreciate this place but do yourself a favor and just stop in and you’ll understand this review.”
