A unique store with everything we need to stay healthy. If they don't have the product you need, they know where you can get it :)

I stopped by this small corner market while waiting for the pastry shop across the street, and I'm glad I did. They have a lot of unique SE Asian and Chinese products, including the "Cream Soda" Fanta version that I thought was only available in SE Asia. They specialize in herbs and other natural "medicinal products," and while I didn't buy any, I walked around and there seems to be a good selection. The staff is super friendly and there were very few people in the store. COVID safety measures seem to be good!

This location is better than MPLS one because they have bigger space which means more selection. I think they even expanded the floor space in the last 2 years. There are two parking areas now on either side of the store (East and West). The light rail station is nearby (Dale street station - Westbound). I can even get there from work by taking the light rail. I hope they can organize the store better since they have more room now. There are not very good signs inside the store and I can't figure out a specific logic how they stock the items. If you spend more time here, there will be some really good items that actually came from China, i.e. the Sichuan broad bean spicy paste from the authentic Pixian region in Sichuan province. Many other Chinese items seem to be coming from Taiwan (just be aware of that even though the name and label all says authentically from China) and some are from California. The price on bean curd (tofu) is really good here, you will save a lot of money comparing to Cub, SuperTarget, etc. As for vegetables, they don't last long even when storing in the fridge for 3 to 4 days, it's kind of weird that vegetables I buy from here go bad quicker than American grocery stores. I didn't think the greens 油菜,芥菜,芥兰,shanghai白菜 are that fragile. The bamboos here are pretty good, and I had good lucks with winter melon, bitter melon and egg plant. I recommend taking a bit more time to look around inside the store. The seasonings such as oyster sauce, soy sauce (light and dark), cooking wine, etc all seem to be good quality. This store gets almost 4 stars if they do a better job on organizing.

I love my Asian Grocery stories as it bring nostalgia and great savings. Comparing to United Noodles, the prices in Shuang Hur is wayyyyyy cheaper. If you are looking for veggies, Shuang Hur is your place as they have cheaper veggies/meats/seafood and you get quite a bit for the fraction at the price at Cub. Shuang Hur has a different selection compare to other Asian grocery stores, so there is value checking out this store. The only warning that I have is when it is busy the front parking lot can be very crowded but they have a back lot parking. Good place to get your groceries overall.

I love coming here and seeing all the herbs and teas they offer. They have an herb for any ailment, this is the natural way to go. Very friendly people, very helpful and knowledgeable. I keep coming back and will continue coming back. This is a great place if you want to keep the cure natural and clean. Free yourself of all the toxins and drugs that make you feel worse than your ailments.

I do actually like the market, but I'm just curious is it open on Sundays? Because I check online and it says open Sunday 10-6pm and the door isn't open, no lights on. ?????
