Made an appointment for 9am, showed up about 5 minutes early because in the confirmation email they ask that customers do not show up early. Waited about 25 minutes for someone to show up. Called and emailed with no response. Incredibly disappointed, glad I didn’t pay in advance.

Booked a silk press they said their sink was out of service so I had to wash my own hair or camel the apt. I went anyways and just decided to go with two goddess braids. Yallll I have never wanted to cry so bad in my life! The braids are so high on top of my head I might as will be a dinosaur! NEVAAAA AGAIN! Don’t waste your money sis.Service: Hair extensions

Both of my daughters and I have been seeing Ms. Berd for years and she always does a great job! She really listenens to what we want even when we don't know what it is we want. Also her daughter Laura does my youngest daughters hair and she is also amazing!! Thank you ladies for always making sure you take good care of us!! We wouldn't go no where else!!Service: Box Braids

I had a consultation for my daughter to get hair extensions. I was told to book it online, so I did. I scheduled it out almost 2 months so that they had plenty of time to order the hair. I put in the information for the hair color everything just as they told me. So the day before I get a text message saying that they can't do the service for a custom color. So I called and they said to take a picture of my hair so that they can get the right tone. Sure I sent pictures of her hair. Then I get another text saying that they can't get the hair and that they need more time to accommodate for her appointment. So I'm pretty sure if I show up tomorrow they'll tell me that she doesn't have an appointment anymore.So now I gotta break the news to my daughter that she can't get her hair done this weekend. She been saving and really looking forward to this.Don't waste your time or effort!Service: Hair extensions

An ok place if you want simple, quick, non artistic hair braiding.My one issue is with the customer service. There is no excuse for the lack of customer service that I have experienced and witnessed numerous times. It’s almost a feeling of “I’m black, your black. I don’t have to show professionalism or treat you like we value your business. You know what it is.”I really dislike that feel.You are located in a mall. A large public mall. You should encounter many people that are new to your business regularly.Answering questions and providing information about your offered services should be expected and delivered with enthusiasm and accuracy.You can and should do and expect better.

I’ve been coming here for over two years now, she’s really grown out my hair highly recommend them whenever she braids my hair my head does not hurt afterwardsI’ve tried all different styles with them everything from box braids to quick weaves and I can say that their skilled in doing everythingAlso if you’re looking for a place to bring your kid I highly recommend them I’ve brought my niece here a few timesLove love love ms.Berd !

So I booked my appointment almost 2 months in advance for a upcoming vacation trip, they told me they use there own hair which was fine by me , but about 2 weeks before my appointment I called in to verify my appointment and they tell me the hair I want isn't there , but they will have it by the time my appointment comes. The day of my appointment they STILL don't have the hair and tell me I could come tomorrow and they will have it . I get a text that following morning from 1 of the employees stating they can't do my hair because they still don't have the hair! Desperate because I leave for my trip in 2 days I decided to buy my own hair which they said was fine , and i allowed them 2 do it. I never been to this salon , I walk in and nobody have masks on , no greetings , no apology for the constant delay , just a cold "you got the hair" ? Plus the shop is filled with teenagers and a baby. 1 of the teenage girls braiding my hair caught an attitude because I asked was the broken comb she was using in my hair clean . The only bright side was that I only paid $50 for crochet when they regular price is $65 , but that's only because they didn't have change.. I like the crochet they did , but I don't think that I will be returning because of the customer service and the professionalism. This was my first and last time coming here.Service: Hairstyling

DO NOT GO TO LOVELY BERD SALON! My 17 year old daughter got a wig installation and it LITTERALLY fell off in less than 24 hours. She followed all the directions to care for the wig that Shay (the stylist) gave her. However, it did not stay on. When my daughter reached out to the owner Berd to tell her what happened; Berd offered to reinstall the wig, but put ALL the blame my daughter Jordan for it falling off! My daughter ended up getting a refund for the defunct install, but was told "It was clearly not the salon for her" Then Berd blocked her from the site. My daughter was NEVER rude to Berd or disrespectful to anyone at the salon!!! I even helped her write Berd. So, unless you want to be treated rudely and get crappy service, Get your hair done elsewhere

Berd is a great hairstylist. I have been working with MRS. Berd for 5 years now. She does my hair and my husband hair. Very patient, and always make sure she get her clients together. Every business needs room for growth! But Here Is one of the best.
