I am embarrassed as the following review is long overdue.Last spring I sourced materials for my outbuilding and a good friend suggested I use Greg Strom and man did he come through on all portions of the build and I cannot thank him more! Going back to last May and thinking of the stress Lamperts personnel were under, I am still awed at how Greg managed to get our materials together. Heck, he even went out of his way to personally pick lumber and set it aside on a trailer - correctly staging it for build - that I could pick up because deliveries were so behind!I am forever grateful and will always return to Lamperts! Have a wonderful day everyone!

Called the Pella location on September 3rd to get a quote. still hadn't heard back so I called this morning to get a price so I could figure my own quote. Extremely rude when I called them out on the lack of a timely quote and was hung up on when I didn't want to wait again for a call back. Terrible customer service.

Lampert Lumber is so unprofessional that, 1. last year as I was emailing back and forth with an employee about measurements when he inexplicably stopped communication. 2. In the past few months I could not even get a response, while attempting to arrange an appointment for an estimate. I could not reach anyone in the entire company by phone, and when I emailed I got no response. I emailed corporate and got an immediate response. After explaining the situation I was assured that a local store would be contacting me. Yup you guessed it, I was never contacted. Complete a project professionally, they can not even communicate with a customer professionally. Absolutely unacceptable! I would not even consider hiring Lampert Lumber.

We just switched from another competitor and Lamperts change their accounting program. I’ve worked for and with many lumberyards and this is the most confusing accounting system I’ve ever experienced. They don’t show any of my payments on statements. They are applying my payments to incorrect jobs as well. It’s causing me to spend way too much time on accounting rather than growing my business. We are currently exploring other options.

Company has lousy customer service I signed on order 118k firm they want to charge me thousands more no communication wait since 1.5 months for my front door suggestion. Stay away from them

The yard guy at Lake Elmo location was very unprofessional. Bangs forklift into the side of my trailer and gets a smart mouth about it.

Dealing with Chris at the Ridgeland, Wi. store was more than exhausting for our new construction. Trying to get exact pricing on products was crucial to stay with in our budget, Chris would give us "it's about this much" on trying to price out individual doors, hardware, etc. Windows, all interior doors and front door handle were installed with the wrong selection. We have dealt with Dave in North Branch multiple times for different projects, and he always is knowledgable and professional. It's nice to know where to go to get quality products at great prices AND good people to deal with!
