I’m a native Chicagoan who knows his hometown’s hole in the wall spots as well as some Michelin starred restaurants, so I was looking for a legit taco joint to add to the growing list of places where I can grab quality grub. This supermercado has some authentic tacos with salsas that stand out there with what my mom (Rest in Power) would make for us at home. These aren’t gourmet tacos that also have their place in but just what you need on a fine afternoon if one is picking up some house chorizo or fresh Mexican queso fresco or some non-preservative tortillas at the counter. Throughly enjoyed the 7 tacos I got of all varieties (went back for four more after having 3) and will be coming back with my son to try their menudo on the weekends. Nothing fancy. But this isn’t about that.

I do not recommend whatsoever! I love leaving good, positive reviews, however, this store is a complete vile mess! The food is old, moldy and it smells bad. You can tell they add ingredients to the food that is going bad in order to sell these items. The customer service was very disappointing.I would give ZERO starts if I could. For your own health safety DO NOT SHOP here.

Their meals are terrible and too pricey for bad quality food. The only thing that I like are beans and rice that it. Definitely not coming back.

I am not very regular of this store. But . THEIR PRODUCTS ARE TWICE AS EXPENSIVE. VERY OUT OF TIME VEGETABLE. AVOCADO ALMOST 3 DLLS IN VERY BAD CONDITION. EXPENSIVE DAILY USE PRODUCTS. MY RECOMMENDATION IS NOT MORE THAN ONE STAR. VERY BAD IN THEIR EXPENSIVE PRODUCTS
