The agent and attendant at the Union Train station were gracious and helpful in changing the retrn of our rental...where we did not have to travel across St. Paul.

I was looking online at their website trying to select a rental car and every location nearby will not offer a rental car. The closest one says temporarily closed and none of the other options allow you to select a rental. Their website is terrible to use and based off of this experience I would not use Hertz.

This is such a terrible car rental place. Not sure if it's the service or the location. There was no selections for car and it took them so long to process our rental. It was not even busy. We were the only one there and then some other people came after half an hour.

Insurance company made reservation for rental, said that Hertz should call back shortly. The location never called back, and when I tried to call them they automatically hung up. Absolutely terrible service.Update:Absolutely livid, spent hours on hold with a different phone number I had to ask their chat agent for to find out all the labor they needed to do was send me a link that they should have sent automatically.Additional update: The lady who kept taking my calls claimed they were having a hard time sourcing vehicles, and kept pushing the pickup date back by one day at a time. When I asked to speak to a manager after this kept happening, come to find out this location is temporarily closed. I was supposed to receive calls and texts to confirm pickup availability, never did. Someone who wrote down call notes claimed they had tried to call me to let me know the rental was ready for pickup and left a voicemail. My phone doesn't have voicemail abilities, and I received no notification of the call. Both staff members lied to me.In summary, go straight to the White Bear Lake location, not this mess.

Worst experience ever. Had my car stolen( not their fault) car was recovered brought to impound. Sat there for 3 days before hertz picked it up. In the mean time I can’t get a replacement til hertz gets it out of impound. Then I had to wait another 3 days for the local hertz got confirmation that the car was out of impound.during this time I called several hertz without them even answering the phone. The airport hertz where the vehicle is they take their phone off the hook. 14 days later I can’t even get my things out of the vehicle. The lost and found finally called me to say the car was empty and I have to call the police department. The worst communication I’ve ever experienced.

Went in on Friday to rent a car. No inventory but said they would have one for me Tuesday afternoon and to call Monday morning to check for a potential rental then. I called Monday and they didn't have anything. I then went in for my pick up on Tuesday and they said my appointment was Monday. I guess this is how they treat their "presidents circle". Unbelievable.

Reserved a class B vehicle and when we arrived they said they only had a Chevy Spark or smaller size Class A vehicle. This was too small for my family of 3 so they charged an upgrade fee to get a VW Jetta. Horrible customer service. Luckily the National Hertz office refunded us the upgrade fee but this office was not friendly or helpful.

Worst Hertz counter experience ever. Customer reps were sullen and moved at a snail’s pace. Unhelpful and unfriendly. Car wasn’t in the location stated and we were sent out with 5/8 tank even though rental agreement states Full.

First time Ive had an issue with this location and definitely not going with Hertz again after this. Rented a car Monday and the car was filthy, once we got it home and I cleaned it up and on the road we realized the tires were bald on the front, the Change oil light came on, ABS and traction lights also lit up as well. For a 2020 Tahoe and all this happening to it let alone the bald tires and 3 different brands on the car was horrible. I will be contacting someone to get a refund on this because we’ve tried exchanging the vehicle while in GA and I’ve been getting the run around

If I could give negative stars, they would give negative ones in hundreds. They need mex lessons in customer service and to stop lying. They said they had no cars yet I saw it least 15 sitting there will never recommend them or return

Horrible experience all around. I will never try to use them again. I pre payed for the car in full and arrive from the airport to the front desk to be told there wasn’t any cars available. Aka they gave away the car that I secured. There was no email. No phone call. No voicemail left. Why would I pay in full to secure a spot for them to give away the car?

Only have 1 person working on a Saturday, greatly diminishes the ability to pick, clean, receive and process reservations at the same time. Called the Hertz customer service number (because no response when I called the local number) to change reservation to an earlier time. The guy working had no idea. We've now been waiting for an hour to pick-up our rental.
