I had my halflingers taken care of twice with two different outsoles (my favorite are the vibram outsoles) and they’ve done an amazing job! I also intend on getting the works on my Red Wing 877, 1907s and my Beckman boots later this year. Thank you for your hard work and local business!

Unfortunately, I did not get to do business with them. But great customer service, I came in with a motorcycle leather pant and jacket that needed a zipper attached. They pointed me to the right store that could do the work. Will come back here in the future if I need leather repair because of the great service.

I brought an ancient boy scout bag there to get grommets added so I could use it as a messenger bag. They did a great job, gave me my price options, didn't blink or try to upsell me when I chose the cheapest option, and got it done in a very reasonable amount of time. I'll be back when it's time to resole my boots!

Fast service yet thorough service, very knowledgeable. Awesome spot for all your leather needs.Had to resole pair of boots and install hardware for a crossbody strap. CJ was great at not only explaining my options, but also at explaining the relevant caveats.My order was gonna take a month, mileage may vary based on time of year - didn’t get a chance to ask if they could do a rush order for a premium.

Dropped off a pair of loafers and a leather purse before Christmas...was told to pay in advance....ok$69 is my bill...been here several times before so quality work...When I come in to pick up my items .. 2 customers are picking up boots and the other has iceskates...both are paying as they pick up!!! Why I wonder did I have to pay in advance....I am black senior female.......they were white and young.... funny thing is I mentioned it.."oh I had to pay in advance..they dont...everyone shuffled to the back..no response..just sayn'...treat everyone fair..never know who is watching!!

Seriously amazing service. My husband’s hockey skate cracked on the toe and they were able to patch it and for a really affordable price. Reasonable turnaround time and KIND people. Totally worth the 30 minute drive from the south metro.

Faith in Humanity Restored!I walked in and asked about repairing a heavy, coated fabric item. I described the issue to Tim. He went in back, and returned with a tool he thought may work. He let me borrow the tool to try it and just asked I return it later. It worked and I returned it later that day. The kindness, trust and generosity made my day!

I had two pairs of wood clogs that needed resoling and polishing. With one pair, I had done a botched job with gorilla glue and made a mess of the whole thing. They made these shoes look brand new - the soles look like they're the factory original. Couldn't be happier with the quality and craftsmanship of this shop. Bonus points for friendly people at the counter + called me on the phone when shoes were ready for pickup.

I’ve been going to George’s for many years. They’re an institution on Grand. Lately I’ve been doing more unique things to some old leather shoes and Dan is nice enough to text and exchange ideas with me. I live across town, but the customer service and work quality far outweighs the drive.

George’s did a great job on my boots. I brought in a new pair of boots that after two weeks of wearing them, they already needed new soles. The boots were custom made to my feet so I loved the way they fit and the leather was already broken in so I just needed better soles. The boot company used a really soft rubber sole and it was wearing out quickly and everything was getting stuck to the bottom of my boots. George’s put on some new Vibram soles and they are 100% better. It was about a 2-3 week turnaround and was reasonably priced for the repair. They did a quality repair and were great to work with. I’ll definitely use these guys again in the future.
