I can only speculate that it looks to me that Gary’s has closed for business permanently. Place looks pretty empty and no phone calls were being answered.

Scam. I called them about replacing a headlight. He told me it would be at least $200 for labor because it’s a huge job needing to take my whole bumper off. It cost $9.99 for the same labor at fleet farm and took them less than 15 minutes. He lied to me. Probably because I’m a woman.

Communication non existent. Small shop seems to take on more work than it can keep organized. Car was done and they just didn't call me, had to show up unannounced. Didn't actually explain what they found, and he kept trying to leave the door open for him to "break" parts. Like can you do it or not? Cuz not breaking it worse is a basic part of repair. Just go to the Firestone full service.

Went to Gary's Service on Minnehaha Ave/Ruth to have my Santa fe repaired ? Gary's installed a timing belt kit for $969.11 ? Took the Santa fe home and it was leaking ❗️Called Gary's back up then dropped off the Santa fe and later that day I received a call to come on up , so I drove back to Gary's Service and he says that there's nothing he can find that is his fault ❗️So I took the Santa fe over to All Tech and they had to redo everything that Gary's Service screwed up ❗️Including the upper and lower timing covers because Gary's Service put the belt on wrong and it rubbed a hole in the timing covers for a total repair cost of $1068.15❗️My advice go where you want to have your vehicle repaired but this guy definitely won't be going to Gary's Service ever again ❗️

Gary's has been our mechanic for the last 4 years, providing a range of services from oil changes, tires, electronic window repairs, and we couldn't ask for better. Always polite, professional, and does quality work for reasonable prices. We love being able to support local business, rather than the big box repair shops.
