DoubleTree by Hilton St. Paul East is an excellent and friendly hotel, described as a hidden gem that keeps getting better. The staff are accommodating and go out of their way to make visits very good. Rooms are nice, clean, well-appointed, and recently updated. The pool area is nice and big, with a pretty skylight, hot showers, and plenty of towels. The location is decent, with a shopping center right around the corner and nearby activities like hockey games, plus a free shuttle service. Parking is plentiful. Some notes mention the beds can feel a little too firm and that the breakfast service may slow down busy people. The food menu has recently improved. It is a perfect place for an inexpensive stay-cation and is highly recommended.
Just left a 18 year old bday party that was here the lobby n party room it is being held in was nice and spacious staff seemed friendly available parking and in a remote location alot of things are near here if u need to stop at a store or to grab a bite!

This is usually our hotel of choice when in the area but this time there were some down falls. Paid parking must be new because we've never had to do that. We were hoping for connecting rooms but wasn't able to get that either. AC wasn't working as well so it was super hot all night.

The hotel staff was phenomenal. They went above and beyond to help us. The hotel is slightly dated, but very clean and comfortable. My daughter and I felt very safe and had a great night's sleep!
