I brought my car in a few years ago for an oil pump replacement. They gave it back after a month of delays and said I needed a new engine, I took it to another mechanic and he found that they put my timing belt back on wrong and wrecked the valves, as well as finding fire extinguisher residue so at some point they had to put out a fire on my car. I had to have it rebuilt by another mechanic and Tom did not return my emails asking for reimbursement.

We really wanted to like this garage because it's local, but have consistently been charged significantly more than comparable local auto shops and struggled with unclear communication about pricing. It has been a disappointing and unpleasant experience.Services: General repairs & maintenance

Best small repair shop around. Staff are friendly and very straight forward. Mechanics are honest and won’t try to upsell you for things your car doesn’t need. Service is done quickly and communication is perfect.

Besides using for regular oil changes and other car engine malfunctions, I recently had a dead battery in this -11 below temps. I live close to the garage. Tom came by, jumped my car, took it back to the garage. He then brought my car back with a new battery.Tom is a gem!! I recommend Doran King highly. Definitely more than 5 stars.Services: Auto brake repair

Had an oil change scheduled for this morning, I complained about my last oil change, and then the guy at the desk said we don't want to do business with you. And they would not do my oil change.Service: Oil change

After today's experience, if I could give them a negative score I would.They do not accept criticism well. I had an oil appointment early in the morning. I told him that I had a complaint involving my last oil change. A long story short is, after telling him what happened, he said that he did not want to do the oil change that I was scheduled for. Fortunately I had an appointment at another garage for a different issue, and they informed me that the oil filter was not it tight enough, which explains why I lost over 4 quarts of oil in less than 3 month. The garage takes zero responsibility for there mistakes. I would never recommend them to anyone after this issue.

I recently had my muffler replaced but within days it fell off. I was very pleased that they replaced it for no additional cost. That will keep me coming back.
