We had a confirmed (via e-mail) pick up for today, we had our items on the curb at 7 am as requested, and they were never picked up. A call to the DAV just got us a message that cut off after about 10 seconds. I have no idea what's going on, but I'm off to Goodwill tomorrow. Not bothering with DAV again - and I'm a veteran.

Scheduled a pickup via telephone for the day that the flyer indicated for my neighborhood. Bags were out on the curb at 7AM. No pickup was made. Called them back that afternoon, they said that my pickup was set for the 9th stop that day, they didn't know what happened. The driver was done for the day, so they rescheduled for the next day. We will see.

More than 99% of the donation goes directly to help veterans. I've been supporting the DAV for more than 30 years in plan to continue doing so

Had a donation pickup today of one bag and an oak wall shelf that was in good condition and nothing wrong with it. The driver came and picked up the bag but left the shelf and the receipt in the snow where they got wet while my driveway was dry and they could have walked a few steps to put the receipt in the door. Last time I donate to DAV.
