The people here have always been great for me, but I'm giving 1 star because it's not possible, as far as I can tell, to call and reach a person. The automated phone menu has never been helpful, and its insane to me that there isn't an option to speak to an actual human.

I generally shop at a different CVS but a medication I've been waiting for is experiencing supply chain issues it seems. So my favorite CVS pharmacist checked other locations and this one had 210 of the 270 pills I ordinarily get. But, some is better than none so my wife picked the pills up for me on her way home and when I looked at the receipt I realized the CVS had charged me for the full prescription despite missing 60 pills. I thought is was simple oversight until I called the pharmacy and was told that: a) it didn't matter how many pills I got, they 'had to charge' the full amount [seriously] and b) if I wasn't happy about it, call my insurance company. So after arguing over a simple math problem for 20 minutes I took her advice. Now, I don't know how many readers have tried to communicate with an insurance company these days but it ain't easy. Just finding a phone number for a human to speak with is an ordeal. The short version of an 1:45 effort, I was told by a very helpful insurance company guy - 4th level up from the initial caller that: a) the CVS person was wrong and, b) they owe me 60 pills and c) he gave me a direct line to call and a case# and told me to go back to the store when they are resupplied and if they don't rectify their mistake to call him immediately from the store so that he can set the CVS personnel right! I was impressed.

Stay open later. Urgent Care stays open later and when they prescribe medicine, CVS is already closed for patients to pick up their prescriptions.

I recently switched to CVS from Walgreens. I repeatedly had poor service there and they were under staffed. Since moving over to CVS, I have been verry satisfied with the whole process of refills from start to finish. Refills are done on time, friendly staff and easy to refill. Thank you!

We got yelled at (!?) as we arrived at 1:31 not knowing it was "pharmacy is closed for lunch." Hatches battened down with metal barriers! SO, with a positive Covid-19 test we simply were after a Paxlovid pill. Not going to happen, not during lunch! (And not easily without healthcare, either, another American Horror Story). Anyway, we simply asked to find out if it WAS available here, and the elder woman behind the counter yelled at us like we were in the NYC Subway. Terrible non-service - like - we get you're going to lunch. Do you need to yell at us like there's a riot happening? We haven't had poor customer service (simple kindness even, eh? We're sick here & looking for help) like this yet in The Twin Cities. Anyway, zero stars if I could, CVS why would you employ people like this, and Target (our Minnesota company) - you might want to vet the CVS scene a tad more? This was beyond rude and I imagine there are a dozen 'not rude' people waiting for this ladies' pole position pharmacy job. Won't you shuffle the deck towards kindness, please?

Another unsatisfied customer. CVS claimed to offer a $5 coupon if you got the flu shot, Target CVS wouldn't honor it. I was on the phone a half hour and CVS wouldn't honor it even though I had it done at CVS and the website gave me the Target store as an option. Plus the pharmacy tech now gives the shots here, no longer the pharmacist. I'm going to do everything I can to let people know what a pain CVS is and how it doesn't honor its offers.

truly truly truly the most accommodating staff especially for how busy their location must be. ALWAYS willing to help and clarify and answer questions when insurance changes things around on me. i always feel respected and that my needs as a person who takes medication are being taken seriously. plus, the staff asked if there was a preferred name i'd rather pick my hormones/other meds up as without being prompted as i had no idea that was even an option. truly being located INSIDE a target in MIDWAY st paul has to be insane and overwhelming but i've never run into any issues beyond being asked to wait ~20 minutes for my meds to get refilled on short notice. pharmacists can get such a bad rap as the retail end of a truly maddening healthcare system so props to them for keeping it together despite that.

Terrible service. I arrived at 1:25 pm to pick up a prescription. I needed to pick up script because I was leaving town at 4:30 pm. The Pharmacist hadn't gotten script ready and he said they were closing. No concern about getting my script because I had a flight to catch. This is a terrible pharmacy. Go elsewhere.

the pharmacists have always been so helpful and patient. I’m a human-medication cocktail with my thyroid meds and such and they are so helpful whenever my insurance screws up. The pharm assistants are also so sweet and helpful.

I understand some people are annoyed by the wait times... For how busy this location is, the wait times are completely understandable. My husband uses the Cub pharmacy across the street and I absolutely HATE picking up medications there compared to how smooth and quickly the line goes here at this CVS location.

Rude costumer service every time I shop here, today will be my last. The cashiers is extremely rude, today the guy was cursing, bang-in on the self checkout machine out of anger because it was froze. I put my items back and left, I wanted no parts in his frustration. I get we’re human, but geez! All of the costumer in line were pretty patient and didn’t mind waiting, there was no need for him to do all that.
