It has a very down home atmosphere. The employees are extremely nice and the security guard Mark goes out of his way to be of assistance if you're trying to find something.

If I could rate the pharmacy zero stars I would. Long story short is the pharmacist is unsympathetic and ultimately lied about having a prescription that they did not have! Additionally, the pharmacist was unprofessional and had zero customers service. They should conduct some more training and learn how to talk to their customers. I will not be returning to this CVS and plan on calling the corporate office to file a formal complaint as well. My advice if you visit this location is to lower your standards when visiting this location because there are none here.
Respectfully submitted.

I waited on hold for a total of 50 minutes today to then have my call answered at the last minute, have the person who was finally answering pretend not to have a good connection and then tell me to call back tomorrow because they’re closing. And just hang up on me. I’m not doing this for fun. It is about medication that is needed. Christ.

DO NOT GO HERE: I had a pharmacy tech that couldn’t count days correctly. Makes me exceedingly worried about them counting meds or medication related mistakes. After that I have a hard time trusting them with something as valuable as my life.

Pharmacy tech was not kind. Did not say hello, literally just said “last name” and then interrupt me while I was spelling it. Same with the first name. Then I tried to confirm the prescription I was picking up, as I don’t want to pick up the wrong thing, and he acted like it wasn’t his job to help me. I was also hoping to put a single store item on the same order so I wouldn’t waste time but he rushed the interaction and didn’t add the item I had very clearly on the counter to my order. I then asked if he could quickly add it to the order, he told me not to hit cancel and when I asked if he could ring my item up he said he could ring it up or I could go up front, and then when I asked him again to ring it up he chastised me for asking since there was “quite a line”. There was one person waiting and all of the wasted time was his fault not mine. Did not give me a bag for my order either. I’ve seen this store much busier with much better customer service, and twice as fast of an interaction. Being rude adds more time. At the cvs on university in target, they are so kind and they double check the prescription I’m picking up. Will never pick my things up here again.

Given the convenient location, I have been willing to put up with the often rude and uninformed pharmacy staff, being out of stock on common medications, and problems with my insurance information not being properly entered in the computer system. No more. I've lost trust in this location given two negative experiences within two weeks. Had my prescriptions transferred to another CVS location where staff was quick, accurate, friendly and helpful. Really highlighted the problems at the Grand Avenue location.

Let's start with what I don't like. The automated refill service is slow, clunky and sometimes impossible to work with.
Now, the "like." Their pharmacy reps are fabulous.
I couldn't get my refill online (needed a 'vacation extension'), so I finally called the pharmacy. Their pharmacist was helpful, gracious and efficient.
Every time I stop in to pick up a prescription, I cringe - expecting the same surly, unhelpful service that caused me to finally quit one of CVS's competitors. But this pharmacy - while always busy - has staff that are always very helpful. The waits are short, and their reps are always polite and professional.

Rude, rude, rude pharmacist and pharmacy staff. Treated me like they were doing me a huge favor to ring up my prescription. In a highly affluent area, service should be top notch.I had an email from their regional person but I am skeptical that anything will improve at this location. Tragic - this location - used to be a fantastic store. Used to be is the operative phase here.

Doesn’t deserve even one star. Very run down, the people working there don’t help you and are chatting with each other. Do not recommend for anything but the pharmacy, which is also dire. Best wishes if you choose to entire this establishment.

Your poor Google grade is justified...and should be lower. Young girl at reception never looked at me, never smiled, never said hello. When I said, How about saying "good afternoon", she said, "why are you talking to me like that?", still never looking at me. It was a dehymanizing.

Good luck arriving at 9am and having their doors unlocked or the pharmacy ready to go - day after day

I don’t mind the staff at all- there was one who I’ve rarely seen and she started off with a fairly cold attitude but I find you just hold space for anyone working customer service to feel annoyed and they end up relaxing around you and being kind. Dealing with people all day when you’re not 100% sucks and if you’ve worked customer service you know that it’s not personal and you don’t need to make it worse by being entitled to them treating you like gold. Let people be people or order your drugs online and get them delivered. My only “irritation” lately is that I’ve been calling into my psychiatrist bc they have to individually send refills for a medication each month, by the time I call CVS it’s been sitting in there for a few days and it never got filled so I have to at times even wait another day. Some staff don’t know where to look to even see a new request was put in. I haven’t had my meds for three days because new staff insisted there was no script in there but of course- request was put in for over six days.

Last two times all new staff in the pharmacy and each one was more rude and unhelpful as the next. Will be considering switching to a different pharmacy if something does not change soon…
