I could not express my appreciation for the hard work and dedication at the staff at Claire’s Automotive. I want to thank them for their quality service and the excellent job they do at repairing and maintaining my Acura with interlock ignition. Most service shops are into the upsell, e.g., come in for headlight fix and endure the linty of other things that need fixing. Much less of that here making it a good place to take older cars. Found the prices fair and they even gave me a loaner car for no charge. I'd maybe take my high end luxury car to Lloyd's down the street.

A great mechanic with a small-town feel. Dale and his guys always take great care of me and my vehicles and can usually squeeze you in if you're in a pinch. Prices are very reasonable and they aren't there to upsell you so you know you're getting what you ACTUALLY need done, no frills added.

Did not give me a free estimate. just went ahead and charged me $325. to close a non functioning Sun roof on a 20 year old vehicle said it took them 2.5 hours. !!! ? This was not a fix... just permanent closure and not operable ever again. I wished I had visited YouTube prior because there is a video on how to do this by yourself , and it only takes minutes with that Allen wrench! on the same type of Dodge vehicle. Then when I asked "how can that be?"He said " if I gave you an estimate I would've told you between $100. -to $500." He never gave me an estimate!! They should not advertise free estimates.

Clair's Automotive was a huge help for me when my catalytic converter was stolen (with O2 sensors). I appreciated the professionalism and experience the owner had with these situations as he helped me manage my insurance claim and acted in my best interest again and again. He was willing to call my insurance company and work with the reps, showing a lot of patience. I valued his insight to take before and after photos without me even asking for this. Also, when a part was defective he went wayyyyy out of his way to be sure the parts company returned me my money. Just stellar principles from this shop. And, might I add, I disclosed from the start I was weeks away from an out-of-state move, so one might expect a less than optimal service, considering he knew I would never be back. Thank you, thank you, Clair's Automotive. You know what you're doing and you're kind to those going through a lot of stress. Well done.
