I have used CCCU for decades and have always found their staff and services to be top notch. When I have had issues they are able to fix it in a few minutes. They have locations around the metro and their staff is friendly and skilled. I would recommend CCCU to anyone looking for a bank/credit union.

The people at CCCU are very kind. However, I can't express enough how archaic their online capabilities are. I want to make a payment to them using my wells fargo account (like I do with literally any other bill I need to pay) but the process to set up the ability to do this is more complex and invasive than buying a home. I can now no longer even access my online banking at CCCU to try and follow their 100 step program to pay via Wells Fargo because my account was locked and I was told to 'reset my password' when I called, but every time I try to do it, it tells me my 'my account is not eligible to do password resets'.....um what? Nobody can seem to figure out how to allow me to pay my bill. Infuriating. Really. Only giving 2 stars because at least the people there are nice and they are likely also annoyed with the limited technology to do their jobs.

People really need to avoid CCCU. Their customer service staff is so robotic and not empowered to fix even the smallest of issues. I have a CCCU credit card I haven't used in maybe a year. I paid it off about a year ago but keep it as a backup card. Sometime last fall, apparently, a $16 charge was made by someone other than me. Because I don't use the card I don't find myself looking at the online account just in case someone made a $16 charge. Their robots refuse to help. It's "past the 60 days to report it". It's flipping $16 people, and now two months of late fees that are showing up on my perfect credit report. In my world, where I've employed numbers of customer service staff, they are empowered to "fix the problem", "take care of the customer", especially when it's clearly not just some random "they won't pay" situation. But no, CCCU hired robots without any discretion, who for $16 is willing to anger and throw away someone who's paid them thousands in fees and an auto loan. Is it worth it, CCCU?

12/22/23 Came through drive thru for deposit and I waited over 30 minutes to deposit my money. Not sure why employees are slower than the normal wait time.ATM does not have deposit which could've saved me boat load of time.

Incredible Credit Union to work with! They were the only lender to extend me credit when I unexpectedly became a widow. My “regular” bank wouldn’t work with me they thought I was too big of a risk since I was a female with a dead husband.I love City County!!

I took out a loan through this credit union for a vehicle. After purchasing the vehicle, I sent my insurance in on three different occasions, they neglected to do their part. They charged me $3777 for six months worth of insurance and never sent me any paperwork about it.So now, in the midst of trying to sell my vehicle I had to figure out and advocate for myself on where this almost $3800 came from. I have spent hours and hours on the phone with several different representatives all of which are absolutely rude and disrespectful. Including Kelly Williams, whose boss is the VP of the credit union. Please note is representative. The transferred me did not tell the new representative who I was why I was calling or what this was regarding.I work in customer service, and this is beyond the worst customer service I have ever received.I highly recommend taking your business to a better credit union, like Affinity credit union!

I would give them 0 stars if I could. Customer Service is terrible! I took out a loan with them for car, sent my insurance info to them 3x. They charged me $3,777.00 for 6 months of coverage because they did not add my current insurance. Had to sit on the phone with them for hours to find out what had even happened. Now in the process of fighting for them to credit back their mistake. I was transferred to 6 different reps trying to square this away, including Kelly Williams, her boss being the VP Tom Coulter - she was rude and snotty. GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT THIS PLACE!!!

I stopped by the Eagan branch recently on a Friday afternoon with paperwork in hand to add a business account to my personal accounts. After the teller spoke with the manager (who would not come out of the back to speak to me), I was told the earliest they could help me was the following Tuesday if I made an appointment. Isn't opening accounts a basic service of a credit union?

Problem after problem. I went through 5 debit cards in 4 years as the chip kept malfunctioning. Even was charged for 2 of them. Finally they gave me a card I can tap (years after every other bank seemed to offer them). They don't allow me to upload my checks, I have to go in person (another thing my old bank never had a problem allowing me to do!). The last straw was I took my kids to Florida, notified the credit union ahead of time, and my card had issues from the time we attempted check in at our hotel to paying for the last meal before our flight back...I actually had to leave my kids at the restaurant and go use an atm down the road. After multiple phone calls, endless waste of time and headaches on the one vacation we get to take every few years...I'm done.

I fell for a scam last week. If it hadn't been for the teller and bank manager, I would have lost $7,000- most of my checking account! Its so good to have a bank that knows customers and have put scam preventions in place! And they took time to ensure that my Master and Debt cards were secure to use again.(I have been a member since the 80's. In the past I've had letters from CCCU telling me there was a dubious attempt at using my cards.) Advice: if you feel uneasy or pressured and think it MIGHT be a scam, it is!

CCCU has taken care of me and my family's funds for years! They were my first bank and I've stuck with them- from being the only bank that would approve me for a car loan when I was purchasing for the first time, to working with me when other banks dropped the ball and I'm on a time crunch. I get a quicker response time and clearer answers to my questions from CCCU over big, for profit banks. Couldn't recommend a credit union more!

Very poor customer service; rude, unprofessional and unhelpful customer service reps and supervisory staff. This bank processes electronic transactions slower than most and then potentially charges you with fees (they blamed my bank for their lag with processing). I have NEVER had issues with larger/commercial banks or credit cards like CCU. They also actually did a bait and switch tactic on a low APR credit card- offered my family member a secured credit card but told him it was unsecure and then incorrectly applied a credit denial notice to them rather than account closure notice. We chalked this up to incompetence but now question that.

I travel for work. For years (literally) I have complained about not being able to log into my account from some countries when I'm abroad (countries in South America for instance). I get rude responses from the IT department with solutions that do not work, such as use VPN (note: I always use my companies VPN when attempting to log in). Unless I use a free VPN via sketchy website service to make it look like my IP address is in the United States, which might i add is NOT a secure option, then this does not work. By the way hackers or whatever they are trying to prevent could also do that.... Extremely frustrating. CCCU has many preventative steps in place already that will lock an account and notify you of a bad login attempt. Blacklisting IP addresses from other countries is ridiculous and not done with any other financial accounts that I have.
