“A shout out to Lucia and Chris Similhomme! Staff at this Alamo location, MSP Airport, couldn't have been more considerate and helpful. Lucia helping us with a larger vehicle was great as we had grandchildren coming in and needed more space. Also above and beyond, she located my phone I left at her counter and with the help of others , Chris as well, it was returned to me before we left the parking garage! Chris finding a suitable car for us was perfect! Many thanks for their time and patience as we were out of our comfort zone and they made the process so easy!”

“Fantastic - great customer service! The gentleman I spoke with was so very helpful. He told me about the drop box if I would be late and that I could park my car on site while I used the truck (couldn't drive two vehicles at once :) ) The day before I was to pick up the truck, he was checking it over and found there was a mechanical problem.”

“I have rented at the MSP Avis monthly over the past 5 months as I've traveled for work. I always receive good service, shown by staff's responsiveness, friendliness and willingness to do service recovery on the spot if there are issues. During the most recent visit, the initial car I was given kept giving a service light. After driving it for 1/2 day, I returned to Avis for a trade. Sam was happy to trade out the car. Upon preparing to leave in the replacement, I realized I didn't have my license and had left it in the other vehicle. When i went back to the office, Sam suggested I talk to the guys who check in the cars. I went and spoke to Mohammed (who is always SO NICE when I bring in the cars). He called his colleague, Jeraldo ("Jerry") to help me. Jerry went ABOVE & BEYOND. He drove me down to the "bowels" of the airport so I could find the car that I had previously driven and look for my license. The car was just about to go into the car wash when we found it. I was and still am beyond grateful and so happy. Not only would I not have been able to leave with the replacement car, but I wouldn't' have been able to travel back to Texas when leaving the airport. He basically saved me from so many potential issues by taking a few extra moments, going above and beyond, and being an exceptional service provider.”

“I rented a car from this location about a week and a half ago. I almost didn't because of the reviews left, so I felt it important to leave one myself.First, the positives: Once I found the location, I was in and out within 15 minutes. There are many reviews about insane wait times, which may be true during peak travel times, but this was not my experience. The transaction was quick and easy. This was around 4:30 p.m. on a Tuesday.The negatives: So, technically, I could have rated lower; however, after spending half a day traveling by plane, my main concern is getting the vehicle and getting on my way. With that said, there are some things to be aware of. First, Dollar/Thrifty/Hertz are under the same umbrella at this location, but they are not located at the rental counter with the other companies. My biggest complaint was that it was hard to find in unfamiliar territory. There are signs at the counter saying where to go, but if you don't know the layout of the parking garages, it's not easy to find. We had to ask for directions.The person running the counter wasn't rude, but wasn't pleasant either.Like I said, my biggest issue was trying to find the place, but I can't fault this company since the airport is probably partially responsible. My rating is based on my experience once I walked through the door. Not-so-pleasant attendant, but quickly processed the transaction and got on my way. That's what matters the most for me personally.”

“Thrifty car rental was super easy and the Jeep I rented was fabulous. The whole process was easy and the only glitch was when I was trying to drop it back off. Your call center employee was not helpful. She sent me to the wrong terminal in Minneapolis. It's a good thing I left early because that may have caused me to miss my flight! Someone needs to better train the people who give out the information on the phone!!”

“Mission Air Pod Recovery was a success!!Let me tell you about Terry!! He drove over to Terminal 2 (I was at Terminal 1) and picked them up from their QTA (?) Office. Super nice guys working the counter tonight. It was one of the workers who was able to ping my son’s AirPods. I'm so glad they were willing to go the extra mile! My son is happy and this mama is relieved!! Thank you guys for being awesome!! I will rent from Payless again!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
