I live out of state and googled to find the closest florist to the hospital where my friend is having (emergency) surgery. Trying to call was a nightmare so one of the answering recordings suggested ordering online, which I did. I went through the process and was very surprised by the fees (I live in Nashville and its not cheap here) but continued with the order since they are local. I just received a call that the order was rejected twice (?? I ordered it only a few hours ago) the first time because the patient was still in surgery and then the 2nd time because there are lilies in the bouquet. They will only redeliver for another $30 charge. Hospital orders are apparently final as well. I was also told that all of this, plus more is on the website. Which I completely did not see (and took quite a bit to locate as I've gone back to search). I am so very disappointed in their customer service, lack of options, and lack of initiative to help someone (especially when a little observation you'd notice I am not local and the delivery is to a hospital).

My husband sent an arrangement that was not to my liking. He was told that the arrangement they were sending was “ stunning”. It was far from my liking and not what I considered stunning. Then when I called the store to ask about an exchange I was treated rudely. The arrangement WAS NOT WORTH $70 + $25 delivery! Customer service agreed to send a replacement- we’ll see what comes!

It’s a great store for inspiration and wonderment. I believe their prices and incentive program are not worthwhile. They’re strict to not replace faulty items outside of 60-days post purchase which is disappointing. I like Bachmans for special occasions but not for my usual shopping.

Very nice Bachman's. Staff is always helpful and while often times an employee or two isn't knowledgeable, they are always able to find someone who is. I wish they had more native plants, trees and shrubs and more plants that are confirmed to be pesticide free. Remember to ask when you buy so you know if your plant is supporting wildlife or unintentionally endangering it.
