The pickup and drop off time defaulted to noon when booking. The attendant told us we had a window of 1 minute to pick up the car at noon because that's when they close. The attendant didn't want to go over anything when returned it because that was also at noon. Charged an extra 24.99 and 4.60 without explanation (car had a full tank and was perfectly clean.)

Downtown Saint Paul Location: Customer service was phenomenal. Took a while to get a car to us from the airport but from start to finish the people were attentive and did everything to make our experience wonderful. Will rent from this location every time.

Attempted to rent a car from here booked it in advance. I was on my way there by bus to pick up my car and was called about 10 before my arrival time to be told that the vehicle was not going to be ready for three more hours. The first time I rented from this place. I made the reservation online for noon. When I got there I was rushed and was told they closed at noon. Luckily I was in the area early and felt the nudge to show up early. Had I not gotten there right at noon I would have been out of a car again! This is the Bloomington location they need more staff and a a different manager who doesn't lie and marginalize you.

I would give 6 stars! THE BEST staff - helpful, efficient, lovely! Our car was clean and well maintained. A short walk from most downtown hotels.

Terrible customer service. Rented a car 2 days before pickup and they did not have any cars. The Desk Agents only solution was for me to wait 3 hours past my scheduled pickup time. Needing the car at my scheduled pickup time. I had to ask the agent for any other possible solutions. He reluctantly found a car at the Airport and while speaking with the Agent at the Airport tried to only get me the lowest economy car when I rented the Intermediate.He then double charged me, and I had to travel to the Airport to pickup a car. Poor service, up your game man. If your location screws up don't make it the customers problem. You did that, shame.

I used to use enterprise, now I only use Hassan with Avis 7th street location. He is a awesome person he always makes it happen and goes above and beyond. If your going to rent a car make sure to use this location. 5 stars all the way!

Worst service I’ve experienced renting a car. First, couldn’t even spell my name right after giving my drivers license. Secondly, I called to complain of the pot smell that is heavy in the car, and was told they would “try” to get me a different car. Never received a call back for two days. I called finally to speak with Hassan, he apologized but said no cars were available and was super short with me and hung up. I have to have this car for 7-10 days while my SUV is being fixed but this pot smell is ridiculous. I managed to call 4 other Avis places around this one and they all gave me the same run around if not having any vehicles available. Will not rent through here again. Hassan has tried but I feel like there has to be more cars available….

Charged my debit card, then upon pick up was told it wasn't a valid form of payment. Then why charge the card? 3-10 business days for a refund but they wasted no time in charging the card. Stay away, scam company.

Never sent me a receipt for my purchase. Charged me $450 to vacuum out the car without notification. **update: received receipt after calling and complaining. Does not show reason for $450 charge. The women on the call said she was “taking notes on our call” would never recommend this place of business.
