They had exactly what I was looking for, the prices were a tad high, but that’s to be expected from a small hardware store.

I needed to repair a table leg (so the table would be useable again) and they were incredibly helpful, walking me through what I needed and how to do it. Wasn't sure this repair was possible but they helped me through it.

A great neighborhood hardware store. The main level has your usual things as well as a section for some home goods.

Always ready to help! Needed some specialty fastners and was directed to the right place right away. Very courteous help staff and the store is never very crowded.

Great local hardware. Service with a smile as soon as you step through the door.

I stopped by to pick up a razor scraper. Many aisles were blocked off with a chain and a sign saying to ask for help to get products from that aisle. It took quite a while to find someone to help me, and when I finally did, he was rude and of no help whatsoever. I explained what I was looking for, and even showed him a photo and he said he didn’t know what I was talking about. When I requested that he ask someone who did, he told me to wait in line at the cashier and ask them myself. One cashier was working the register, and the line was 5 people deep. I set down the other items I had and left. For the managers of this store, I didn’t get his name, but he was a short squat man with dark hair and dark stubble, probably around 30 years old. This occurred on July 8 at about 11:00 a.m. See picture for the item I asked for.

I’ve been shopping at this ace, since I was about 15 years old and I grew up in the neighborhood. If you can’t find what you’re looking for at this ACE, you will not find it at any other.

Since they sold out this chain has definitely changed for the worse. Poor window & screen/glass service. Definitely go somewhere else to have your windows & screens repairs. They’re stocked a lesser mix of products that before. General inventory & customer service has taken a hit with the new owners. My crew goes out f there way to avoid. Last 5x in, they did NOT have what we came for.

In my view, a once great hardware store is going down the tubes. I've been shopping there for over 30 years; when it was owned by the Frattalones, it always had a wide selection of items, including harder to find stuff, and better quality builder's hardware and contractor supplies. Since they sold out to that Tennessee holding company in 2021, the product selection seems to have cratered, shelves seem poorly stocked, and a lot of the older employees who gave the place character have left. I just don't see the value proposition in shopping someplace that has worse selection and 20% higher prices than, say, Menards or Home Depot. Too bad the Frattalones sold out.
