They don’t honor returns. Claimed I used a tool set that didn’t have the sizes I needed. Don’t buy anything unless you know you need it.

I had such an amazing experience at this store!! I was buying latch straps ahead of a road trip to the North Shore and Andy took the time to demo the latch strap. Once I got home I still couldn’t figure it out so I ended up going back to the store to see if they could help. Another gentleman took the time to help me attach the latch straps to my carrier hitch IN THE POURING RAIN. Seriously so grateful for their help and customer service. Will definitely be back!!

A great neighborhood hardware store. The main level has your usual things as well as a section for some home goods. Above that is a second floor with some other home goods. There is also a basement section for plumbing. Went in for one item and had a great time exploring the store and finding other gems. The view from the second floor was also a treat.

I like this place(Duh, you have it five stars).It's a neighborhood hardware store with a good enough selection to get you through a project or minor disaster at home. The staff is a lot of younger folks. The store is near Macalester University, so they have some security that is a bit off putting, but my experience with the sales folks have been good, most are knowledgeable and quick to get help from more experienced.

I had never been here before and went in for one specific item for my garden. Upon entering, I was immediately greeted and asked if I needed help finding anything. They took me right to where that item was, so I didn't end up wasting time wandering the aisles. The cashier was also very friendly. Thanks for having such friendly, attentive staff!

Generally friendly but clueless workers, stupidly expensive for the most random things, huge selection but missing lots of key common items. Genuinely bizarre hardware store. They used to be much better.

Their “experts” talked me into buying an expensive paint only to have my painter say it’s the absolutely wrong paint for a bathroom. Ace wouldn’t accept the paint as a return later. Definitely do not buy paint here.
