“I first came to Best Friends about 6 months ago to put my dog Xenio down. Which they were nothing but accommodating, kind and very compassionate about what they do. Then a couple weeks ago I brought one of my other dogs Klein in for a second opinion on what has been making him sick since September. They were very determined to help figure out what was wrong. We didn't get the chance to complete his workup before he passed. So when they found out they were very sympathetic for what I had gone through once again. “I have been taking my pets to Anderson Lakes Pet Hospital for many years. All the doctors I’ve worked with are amazing, although if I had to pick a favorite, it would be Dr. Hanson!
The clinic is always spotless, warm, and welcoming. The team is compassionate and truly cares about the wellbeing of your pets. They take the time to understand both you and your animals, and what I appreciate most is that they listen. They talk things through with you and don’t jump straight to expensive tests like X-rays or unnecessary procedures.
I also want to mention something very personal. When I had to put my little poodle down, I was devastated. As I searched for the perfect new puppy, I would send every potential one to Dr. Zieman. She always took the time to review the information and honestly tell me whether she recommended that puppy or not — and explain why. It took several tries, but eventually she said, “Yes, I would recommend this one.” That puppy is now 7 years old, and I absolutely adore her.
They’re also wonderful about answering emails immediately, which has saved me many trips to the vet — and of course, unnecessary vet bills.
I highly recommend Anderson Lakes Pet Hospital. This is coming from a crazy animal lover with three cats and a dog, all under the amazing care of their team!”
“I can’t say enough good things about MetroPet. I’m genuinely so impressed with the dedication and care they’ve shown my Toy Poodle puppy, Maple. From the front desk team to the vet staff, everyone is kind, patient, and truly focused on providing top-notch care.
Maple has been a sensitive little pup (from food, vaccines, you name it) and the MetroPet team has been consistently supportive through it all. They’re always willing to take a phone call when I have questions, and they never make me feel rushed or silly for being a worried puppy parent. They’ve even gone out of their way to help us on a weekend by getting Maple a prescription she needed, which meant so much.
Dr. Harris has especially exceeded my expectations. You can tell she truly loves her patients and is passionate about excellent puppy care. She’s been thorough, thoughtful, and proactive. Even taking the extra step to call our groomer to ensure they had the paperwork needed for Maple’s first groom. That level of care and follow-through is rare.
I would trust any pet with this clinic. MetroPet is exceptional, and I’m so grateful to have found them. Highly recommend!”

“Kenwood has long been our primary resource for veterinary care and we are always happy with the standard of care and the kindness our pets are treated to. Something I really also value, though, is how willing and quick Kenwood vets are to be part of a more integrated approach to a problem involving specialists or urgent care external to the clinic. They are always interested in and invested in the best outcome for our pets and that is deeply appreciated. On this occasion, they gently guided our Greyhound mix through x-rays for an upcoming visit to a rehab clinic and affirmed the preliminary injury diagnosis given by an Urgent Care vet.
