“Paul made magic happen. Wanted a pop-up canopy/gazebo. The one on the floor was $699.“Might have one in the basement.”Brand new, older model, but the same 12 x 12 size and shape.“Don’t have a heart attack,” he said.“Huh?” I thought it would be a just few bucks cheaper than the newer model.$67. Yeah. The decimal is right. An early Fathers Day, birthday and Christmas for me.Wow wow wow… I ❤️ Hoigaards.”

“My Hutchinson, MN bike shop recommended Freewheel Bike as a good place to start looking for new bicycling shoes (because they did not carry many) -- and it was a GREAT referral.Mike was very knowledgeable on the bio-mechanics specific to bicycle shoe fitting. I came in expecting to buy replacement shoes to accommodate my aging feet. Mike measured my feet... and steered me to a shoe insert specific to cycling and adjusted my shoes' cleat position. I felt a distinct improvement during my next spinning workout.I was VERY Pleased with the knowledgeable assistance aimed at identifying and meeting MY needs... rather than making a sale. As a result Freewheel bike is now my go to for bicycling equipment.”

“This is the last twin cities bike shop you’ll need to find. Within these walls you’ll find the absolute best people, with the most knowledge, and the most approachability of anyone in town. I’ve had the pleasure of a few different projects through Tangletown and I have nothing but stellar things to say about every aspect of the builds. This is true for my wife as well, where she was treated with nothing but respect and the genuine desire to help her prepare for a duathlon. Whether it’s a new bike, service, a rental for the day, or parts and accessories, or bike bags - check ‘em out! They’ve got you covered. You won’t regret it.”

“Ski tuning service was great. Really appreciate that they looked over the skis and didn’t upsell me on unnecessary services. That creates loyalty and is a big reason why I’ll be returning.”

“I moved from Plymouth to Richfield in May 2023 and have used the Freewheel Richfield shop several times for my three mountain bikes. They have a very knowledgeable staff that provides excellent service. After inspecting a bike, they have been willing to make minor adjustments for free and when new parts are required, they typically will perform the work while I wait. Highly recommend this local bike shop”

“I live in Ohio and ordered some parts online (which has never been a big deal), but the parcel arrived promptly with some freebie stickers and coffee beans inside. Without even interacting with anyone, I can feel the care put into that box. Love abounds at Angry Catfish and I am a huge fan.”

“GREAT STAFF, GREAT SERVICE!My son purchased his first set of skis on his 14th birthday. His first day on the hill he had a highly unusual incident, got tangled with another skier, and damaged a ski. The Tonka Cycle & Ski staff worked with the manufacturer to have them replaced, moved the bindings to the new set, AND offered a loaner set for him while he was waiting…..all of this at no cost. From the time we walked in to purchase the original set through the process of replacing them, it was clear the staff was focused on our satisfaction. Everyone we worked with was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly.100% top-notch operation and staff.Thank you!”

“Very helpful and friendly staff. Sam was a great person to talk to and get advice from. Definitely recommend them to anyone who is into biking or getting into it. They might have been the only store in town that had a part I needed/wanted. Was worth every minute I was there!!”

“The store manager and another associate took the time to find the perfect bike and answer all my questions. They even put a reflector on the frame of the bike instead of the seat pole so that my seat could go lower. They picked out the best color and helped get it ordered. Pick up was wonderful too. They put the kickstand on when I decided I wanted one when I picked it up. They also mounted the bike lock I purchased when I picked it up. All around the store on Lyndale ave MN is the best store. I had went to 3 other stores and none of them compare to the one on Lyndale ave in MN. Overall they were very patient and willing to work with me to find the perfect bike.”

“One of the folks frequently in the shop there - Ryan maybe? - is always happy to field my questions and not make me feel like a bother or an idiot. He is the primary reason I go to Dinkytown Eric’s for service on my bikes and boards. Makes a big difference!”

“We were there on a very busy Friday night, Zach (sorry if I misspelled that) was very helpful when he noticed we were a little over our heads looking for a bike for our daughter. He walked us through a couple choices and my daughter loved one of them. She went on a test ride in the parking lot and was sold. When I came back a few days later to pick up the bike, the staff was very helpful and even offered to load it up for me. We will definitely be future Erik’s customers!”

“Chad Henderson was incredibly helpful. He answered all my questions and gave 1st class customer service. I'm so glad I purchased my bike through Erik's. I'll hopefully get it Wednesday. The entire staff has been very knowledgeable and professional. Love the store!”

“My bike was well taken care of, and the service was friendly. When I dropped off my bike, I asked if it would be washed. I was told it would be. When I picked it up, the lower half was washed but the seat back and seat were very dirty. I was disappointed that, for the approximately 200 dollars I paid, the whole bike wasn’t clean.”
