They charge double of what they say on the phone and 5x more then retail anywhere else. Their propane tanks sit so long that they sell them half empty for 3x price. Single nut is worth of driving to bid store.

I been going to True Value since I moved out here since 2016. I was scrolling through the reviews and found myself disheartened to see some of the comments.From the younger staff, to the Owner I have nothing but Amazing experiences you would never get at Menards, Lows or Home Depo. I am always asked every single time if I can be helped when I walk through the door, most times I know exactly where to go. The occasional times like today, I explained my issue to the Owner and also brought the hardware to make sure we got all the right sizes. 15min later digging in every single box it could possibly be in or not in. I left successfully with exactly what I needed and a good time watching his Brain work to find what I need.As I said this before to every single worker there. Of course I will be back for the next small thing that breaks in my home. If I can get here instead, I always will.

Got in line. 1 person in front of me. Finishes. I step up to be next. The cashier, a older gentleman, continues talking, that's fine. Has me standing there about 5 mins to finish his convo, to ring me up, and that only took like 30 secs. So yea, a 5 minute wait because his conversation was so much more important then getting the customer in and out. He was very nice though.

It's like walking back in time! Really fun to look around and find something you need or want. You're not going to find everything lined up like a big box store and that's half the fun. Lot's of vintage stuff around too. Very fun if you aren't in a hurry. Really nice young man working the counter too. I'll be back!

Great place locally to get hardware and other building necessities. Owner is always helpful and does a great job on sharpening mower blades .

Well I found it to be a bit messy and cluttered but they have a ton of stuff for a locale hardware store. Service was good.

Worst hours ever for a hardware store. I've tried to go here multiple times and it's always closed.
